It's a different time now, but back in late 80's, early 90's, I remember walking into a music store when I was 14/15 and hearing this guy playing Whitesnake's still of the night, with all the fire and venom Sykes put into the track. He was using a boss metalzone into a sovtek halfstack. That reminds me, Reb Beach said he used a metalzone as his boost on the Dokken live DVD around 2000. Might be time to revisit an old friend.
got to have appreciation for the old lil Devil M Zone truly love the darker finish on the pedal version you shown looks more badass Metal suits my Doom metal being
Thank God someone did a decent demo. I'm sick of seeing videos that are either "Chainsaw/Swedish Death Metal" (90% of which were a dimed Heavy Metal, not the Metal Zone, and when it was, it was Keeley modded) or ranting about how bad it is. Best pedal I ever owned. People dime the thing and it sounds awful, so they think it's a bad pedal. Kudos.
This is the best sounding tone I've ever heard period! Were the pedal knobs at 12? What was the amp eq'ed at? Maybe I should go fender tube head with my marshall cab
