So glad Brotherwise was able to get a solo mode into the game. I love the Boss Monster-verse (and generally games with the retro gaming style to them), so getting this is a no-brainer. Awesome play through, I’ll have to try this on TTS as well!
Same here, the solo mode is perfect to throw on an old game soundtrack and chill out! Hope you have a chance to play it. If you ever want to try the multiplayer on TTS, shoot me a message! 👾
Are you sure that the number of treasure symbols needed to attract a hero is equal to the symbol on the hero PLUS the symbols shown nearby on the Slot below in the Town? I'm asking because in another video from Brotherwise Games, it is said that the number of treasure symbols needed to attract a hero is ONLY equal to the symbols shown on the Slot below. For example, only one treasure symbol would be needed to attract a Hero into the first SLOT. Or do you need two? What is the correct rule? Thank you in advance!
Hey, thank you for the question! Based on the prototype rules I had it was Treasure + Treasure Icons on town spot. Certainly possible rules have been updated, I'd defer to the official Brotherwise playthrough.
@@boardgameapprentice Exactly, more negative cause and effect to mess with your own dungeon setup. Right now Boss Monster feels too much build a high damage dungeon and let it ride.
Watched a second video of solo mode and feels like its a very simple and doesn't have a challenge. I have all the boss monsters and not sure if the solo mode is one I want to add
That's fair, it is pretty straightforward but still scratches that Boss Monster itch. Good news is the solo board is the reverse side of the multiplayer Super Boss Monster board so no need to add anything!
