Personally, I'd have had Predator show up when Max is struggling and give him the fight stick as a sign of his prowess, which Max would then use to defeat Shinnok.
I was honestly expecting Max to be like maybe I'm looking at this from the wrong, and then boom Jason kills Predator and then kills Shinnok playing as himself
For everyone who didn't catch this live, Max had more trouble with Jason and Reptile than he did with Shinnok Shinnok took, plus the 10 minute break, 35 minutes to beat from Normal to Corrupted Jason took 45 minutes Reptile took _a full hour to beat_

I love watching these and witnessing how ridiculously challenging they are, only for Max to rate it 7/10 difficulty, leaving me to wonder what the higher ratings are like.

Hazama? if you fight in unlimited mars, yeah, that shit is impossible. But in the arcade mode he is easy as hell (Mu-12 isn't that easy,but still is not a real deal)
Add Metal Sonic in Sonic the Fighters (must use Super Sonic to count) and the Epyon in Gundam Wing Endless Duel to the list. Max would hate fighting them both.
Still waiting for a KOF boss to be featured in Boss Rage. There's a crapload to choose from: Rugal '94, Orochi, Igniz, Krizalid, Dark Ash, MAGAAAKIIII... Just do any KOF boss and I'll be happy.

At first I was a bit let down because it wasn't up to the usual theatrical standards of Boss Rage. But starting when he dropped the controller, it more than paid off the wait. Amazing!
+Terry bogard the legendary wolf Use Hanzo and Fuma and spam his ass with Hanzos jumping spike attack. In survival Mode trying to unlock the boss characters I got all the way to Goodman got him down to one hit left and then he went super cheap mode and ruined my chances.
Its great to see the return of Boss Rage. Have you considered expanding this series to encompass bosses outside of fighting games, like say for instance any of the bosses from Dark Souls or DMC on the hardest level, or maybe something from a genre no one expects like an RTS or something else just to throw everyone for a loop. I know you play other types of games besides fighting games Max, and there are a lot of bosses outside of fighting games that give people trouble. Ever consider it? :D
A metal gear boss run, might just be the ticket (max is a huge mgs fan) and I'm sure he can think of a half dozen other games he could boss rage. He did an unofficial boss rage with that Pooh Bear Baseball game with the guys, and that was dope. Great suggestion dood
+John Alspaugh He has done one outside of fighting games. He did boss rage for Asura's Wrath. Though he only did it against the optional dlc SF4 bosses.
+jisouserious Agreed. I still think Tekken 1 Heihachi is the hardest boss of them all, with the slow as molasses movement and recovery in that game hampering you even more.
The only boss harder than him is azazel... and we all remember how bad tekken 6 was as a whole. Tekken Tag 2 boss rage would be freakin awesome though. Anything but 1, 2, 4 and 6 though... those games are either over hyped, or pretty poor depending on which game you bring up. 3, 5 (all versions), tag 1, tag 2, revolution and hopefully 7 are the games where tekken is at it's best. In fact until tag 2 came along, tekken 5 was THE game most people played competitively due to how poorly received 6 was.
