Boss Themes Are Powerful...

The best example of destiny boss themes imo is Rhulk’s hands down. The combined aspects of the atmosphere and the music just makes the fight so awesome

When I hear of bosses and boss themes, the first thing that comes to mind is Fromsoft games with MGR and DMC5 in close second and third. Specifically, MGR's boss themes convey the emotions of the fight really well. If you put into context of the history and goals of the bosses themselves then the music become even better.

One games soundtrack I find amazing is genshin impact, don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the community and I’m not necessarily a massive fan of the game, but the fact that The sountracks are based on the actual regions that the in game places are based off of is incredible, they use traditional instruments from each region to convey each’s own individuality, not to mention in heavy story parts of the game they do not hold back on creating emotionally crafted sountracks.

I think the best destiny theme is Rhulks oryx’s and Taniks (DSC) Rhulks theme when the darkness just blasts in is so drowning and fits in with the panic as the darkness drowns your scream and even the mission objective is simply DROWN DROWN DROWN yet when you start fighting him the light breaks through and when he finally realises it’s too late the theme starts getting panicky both for yourselves and Rhulk as you start to Drown in darkness but Rhulk is also on his last legs of life. Taniks theme is really just settle the score, revenge on both sides. You stopped the morning star from destroying Europa, the world ending fight is over, you won. But the raid isn’t. This next fight is just personal. Almost like a generational battle. He killed Andal brask, Cayde “killed him” until he returned. Then we killed him twice. If he kills us he gets his revenge not just on us but on Cayde as well.

Not sure if it's my favourite but God Rugal's theme from Capcom Vs SNK 2 was always on my workout Playlist for the gym 💪🏻 it's so good. Another one that slaps is Champion Blue theme from Pokémon Blue/Red 🔥

Father Owl imo had the best boss theme in all of Sekiro. Both phases exude power in different ways, and the entire theme just emboldens the player
