2:12 “Rewarding you for keeping enemies alive on very low health” - *montage of all the STS moments setting up relics on the right numbers, fishing for potions with alchemise, killing with hand of greed or ritual dagger etc *
I’ve been watching gameplay from different RU-vidrs since he came out and I just worked up the confidence to buy it and the game is so addictive and your gameplay helps me strategize way better thank you
Timestamps for when Baalor picks up the card in the thumbnail (Searing Blow) and every time it's permanently upgraded: Searing Blow: (4:53) Upgrade #1: (6:30) Upgrade #2: (7:04) Upgrade #3: (7:27) Upgrade #4: (8:18) Upgrade #5: (17:43) Upgrade #6: (18:45) Upgrade #7: (24:44) Upgrade #8: (36:43) Upgrade #9: (45:08) Upgrade #10: (54:08) A Searing blade has Blown straight through the Spire!
I just finished my first ever A1 heart kill using a sneko eye from the relic swap. I managed to do it after picking up a Searing Blow, ended up with +6 on the upgrades . It was one of the funnest runs I've had. Thanks for the vids and showing me what these seamingly weak cards can do.
If searing blow was high level wouldn’t it make using lesson learned harder cause u need to kill the enemy with that move and if searing blow is so strong it one shots and u have a deck built around searing blow for damage it could be hard to get enemy’s low and finish them with lesson learned without using the searing blow right?
me too, i guess thinking about it you only really need to play it once & at no point was he close to having the energy to pay for DW + multiple searing blows until way late in the run when its easier to just draw the same SB over and over again
I see searing blow in the thumbnail, I click the video. It's that simple. P.S. Recently got A20 heart kills on all 4 characters (defect first if you'll believe it!), and it's all thanks to your amazing analysis of the game man. I play so much better after having watched you.
34:32 I think there was a funny infinite where you exhume the exhume and it gives you infinite block and damage from Feel No Pain and Charon's ashes Edit: Okay I saw in the fight against the awakened one that Exhume doesn't work on itself. I guess the infinite would have been too easy
