Bossfight is one of rare examples where he does to music everything that I miss from today's bass music: Unpredictability of drops and genre changes Not sticking to boring riddim formula like many others Maintaining pure HEAVINESS
No way you did that joke dude LMAO As someone that is learning blender i did not expect to see a modeling reference in the comment section of a music video 😂
i follow bossfight since the maze of mayonaise days and glitch gremlin he used to be SUPER popular, but since the trio broke off it has been more and more underground. still one of the most respected dubstep artist in the music production scene tho.. just less on the listener side
@@tryctan2399 Wow, another fan I found from Bossfight’s humble beginnings. As somebody that has been listening since 2017, I skimmed through his stuff and as the lineup and/or logos changed, so did the style of music. Just trying to name each of his rebrandings he had and count how many is satisfying because it is cool to see how he had evolved. Let me know if I got them all correct: He started off as a chiptune project with Sebastian and made some trance vibes for their first album, then a new member Robin came in 2012 and they transitioned to synthwave and electro for their second album. Sebastian left for unknown reasons while the remaining members made glitch hop and some other experimental stuff before Robin also left to explore the world. Erik transitioned to heavier stuff especially with the Heks EP while also removing all pictures of his face and replacing it with a cat mask based off his new logo at the time. After joining Monstercat, he now has a signature sound of dubstep as well as a new mask with the ears on top removed. In 2021, he retired the mask and started making his own visuals for the songs. Finally in the present day, he now wears a green beanie according to his post promoting this song. So in conclusion, 6 rebrands.
@@timgorg1919 he used to be part of a trio that made chiptune sort of music, that's how he got popular in the first place as his songs were used in some popular geometry dash levels. But that kind of fell off and now he's made his own fame through ultra heavy dubstep 🔥🔥
Its majestic, I basically grew up with Bossfight's music, especially the chiptune ones he used to do from way back, then his transition into EDM scene blew me away, especially his Heks EP from 2017. Still a huge fan today, regardless of genre🤘
@@DrylxChip I came in when Geometry Dash SubZero featured his song and when I later found that Roblox played his chiptunes, and it was an experience I had never regretted. I feel like I have evolved my music taste with him and just like you, I appreciate his style both new and old.
Bossfight has been absolutely crushing the 2020s with his releases! I can't believe Decimate's finally out... I remember hearing this song for the first time at Rampage, and I was so excited for it to release. Now that the full version is out, I'm just even more blown away by it! Absolute BANGER!!!
Ma boy Bossfight, so excited for what’s to come in this rebrand!! I absolutely love this song. The vocal samples are so anthemic and give this song a lot of energy and the sound design, both old and new, is stellar. I also love that cover art and visuals too👌
I played this with my headphones on while killing automatons on Helldivers 2. Never had so much hype being aggressive taking on an army of bots with my best squad! Explosions, orbital laser and the sound the railcannon orbital strike makes, it was 🔥🔥🔥💯
Bro i know i might be like a 900th comment sayin this but you deserve more attention man ur music is something else. also how did you got your music to play in rocket league? coz am tryna sent them my D&B song
