Who will smiling after game 6? KP will not, couse he is going back nursing his glass legs in game 2. Btw this smile is hipocritical one. Not good sign 🙃 Mavs in 6 🎯🏀77 🐐
Even kp admitted he didn't give his best to Dallas? There's no hate in Dallas to KP that's all media bs. He was always a good dude and we don't have animosity towards him. Just sucks he didn't try his best when he was with us. @@HenrySuggs-by5nd
@@FoxenASMRCelts shot 16/43 from the 3, JT only had 16, the leading scorer for Boston had 22 points and he averages 28.. & The Mavs STILL basically lost by 20… Let’s stop it with the excuses bro.. Yall LEGIT acting like Celtics had a “High level” game and that’s SOLEY why they won or something?? 😂😂😂
I understand why Mavs fans have that attitude of “Oh, we do this all the time and win the series.” However, if the players have that attitude, this is a 5 game gentleman sweep because you can’t be like that against this Celtics team. The Cs don’t quit. We saw a 29 pt lead get cut to 8, and they just decide to causally go on a 12-0 run in 2 minutes. Boston doesn’t get rattled or quit. They play hard nosed defense to the whistle.
I was rooting for Dallas especially when they had the huge run to drop the Celtics lead from 29 to 8 points, but goddamn Jaylen Brown is currrently at the top for FMVP for sure, he was indeed a defensive and offensive demon in Game 1
That run was basically a Luka one-man show that exhausted him and the Mav’s defense didn’t find a way to force tough shots. Once the Celtics drove harder to the rim after timeout it was over. The thing was the Mavs perimeter defenders couldn’t stay in front of the ball handler, it was too easy to get by.
Finally🎉🎉❤, mazulla getting some respect. All I ever heard today was about JB and KP, but mazzula’s game plan was just spectacular. No one ever respected this youngling, but to be this young and leading such a good team is just mad. Put more respect on his name
Tatum sacrificing his body and energy by guarding Lively and Gafford was one of the biggest turning points of this game. It shook the offensive actions of Dallas. Luka got used to cooking smaller defenders or slower centers during picks. When Gafford or Lively gives a pick, Boston switches and now it's Tatum on him. He is now facing a defender who is bigger, faster, and arguably stronger than him. He can't just plow through the basket like he did vs the other teams. He also can't just shoot an easy stepback three like he did with Gobert because Tatum has speed and length to bother him. And because Boston doesn't blitz or double him, he can't pull enough defenders to throw those free lobs and corner threes anymore. He is stuck to playing 1-on-1 basketball which Boston is okay with. He took 27 shots to make 30 points, with 1 assist. That is a recipe for disaster for Dallas. I don't see how they can match up with the Celtics on defense and offense, they are just outmatched. Tatum and Brown didn't even play up to their averages this game and they still won by 18. I see Boston ending it in 5
Bullshit. Tatum is ass. Fucking annoying. So many bricks and turnovers. He should contribute more. Be more efficient. He was ass. Stop with the bullshit. Brown and KP saved him and irving being shit too.
@@apachehelicopter2381 why so salty with JT? he didn't even mention JT winning the FMVP, it will be JB's if both of them continue to play and average the same average they had last night.
@@apachehelicopter2381You read the name Tatum in the first sentence and immediately went to FMVP conversations when the comment wasn’t even close to being about that The nba discourse is so unintelligent, uninteresting and cooked smh
I'm a KP and Luka fan. A CLE fan who was one of many who lost their mind when Kyrie hit that game winner in game 7 of the 2016 Finals. Larry Bird was my childhood hero and Jason Kidd was one of my favorite players especially when the Mavs beat the Heat in 2011 when I was still salty about LeBron bouncing out of Cleveland for Miami. I'm torn on this Finals yall.
I didn't hear a tide pods reference (and decided it was dumb anyway), but you deserve a little extra bump for your awesome coverage of these playoffs. Loving these recaps 🙌
Boston can defend like wolves but better, i underestimated them fr, they just dont do that elite defense every game because they spend their energy on their elite offense. they have way more versatile guards and small forwards and u can't leave anyone at the 3 pt line, all of them 8 man rotation are at least good shooters. once u double, you're f4cked for sure. Not like in wolves, there is Kyle Anderson, Alexander walker inconsistent asf in 3s, u can leave Rudy in the perimeter, this will be a very long series for the mavs.
Nuggets or healthy clips is the only team who can match boston, it's a shame mpj and murray went full ret8rd mode for the whole series and kawhi knees. Speaking as Celtics fans
This is giving me Nuggets v Heat feels from last season. Heat getting in, unexpectedly, thanks to hustle and grit, but Nuggets just being to OP. I’d love my Mavs to win, but I wholly expect Boston to be too strong. I also will be happy for Jrue Holiday to get another ring after being shafted for Dame by the Bucks.
As a life long Celtics' fan, I'm looking forward to banner #18. This isn't a nod to the the Mavs. I saw Luka do everything he could...and still played very very impressive basketball considering the many roles he had to take. If Luka is out of the game...Celtics' would molly wop the Mavs by 30+. To be quite honest, Luka and Kyrie have been extremely impressive during this post season. The rest of the Mavs...not so much.
I kept saying that Boston was going to play at a faster pace cuz that seems to be the Mavs weakness and look what they did. Speed is Luka’s kryptonite. I noticed it when they played the Pacers back in February and March.
Kidd needs to stop playing Green and Hardy and have Exum on the floor more. He's leading the league in corner 3pt% and is a way bigger and better defender and playmaker. He had a mediocre game against the Clippers and has since been punished with limited minutes
Ill be wearing a lively jersey sunday, just remember you got love over here in Texas ! You and Gafford just need to show him why he should have stayed seated.
Last 5 games that Boston and Mavs have played each other, Boston has blown out Mavs by double digits EVERY SINGLE TIME. Let this here sink in, they haven't beaten Boston in 2 years 😂.
Absolutely crazy that everyone is thinking this series is over. People forget how insane basketball can be. Dallas could make a few adjustments and win 4 straight… you just never know
@@williedaviskcmo as a Dallas fan… I’ve been on the wrong end of winning 60+ games going up 2-0 in the finals then dropping 4 in a row. 😂. I’ve also been on the winning side of going down 0-2 and beating a 60+ win team in 7…. lol but you right, I highly doubt Dallas wins in 5. If they lose game 2 they might be cooked 😬
Neither is my team, but I'd like to see the Mavs take it. Kai needs another ring, and it would be poetic against the Celtics. Still, the Celtics had a great gameplan, completely broke the Mavs stride. Porzingis was a beast
Al Horford really needs a chip, dude's been in the NBA since I was six (I'm 23). He was nice on Atlanta, and he got better at 3's when big men spacing the floor became popular. He has 16,283 NBA career points. Horford has done a great job this year, stepping up to fill Porzingis' spot with all his injury time.
It's not Luka, it the Mavs as a whole. How many open shots did these guys miss. If the mavs have a shooting night especially shooting the 3ball efficiently, they'll take away game 2.

Lmao, my guy, Luka can score 70! As long as his assist numbers are 1 or nothing, (meaning that the Mavs offense was nonexistent), Boston will take that as a win. Game 1 was an example of that.
@@xRetroKidxx96 yeah, but it wasn't just the Celtics defense that made Luka have one assist. Like the whole Mavs team, maybe outside of Luka, was shooting terribly. Especially with wide open shots. The kickouts literally brought bricked shots.
This isn't the reason for the loss, but watching the game I found it strange that after the Mavs cut the lead from 29 points down to 8 points that the refs called two CONSECUTIVE travels on the Mavs, ending both possession and turning the ball over to the Celtics. Two consecutive travels in the Finals in a league where there is LITERALLY a travel that can be called, but is not called, on almost every single possession. My question: why call those travels when there are countless examples of travels that never, ever, ever get called? Why? because the NBA is shady AF.
Bill Simmons and his dad who were st the game credited that third quarter resurgence to Jrue Holiday who came across as the alpha in the timeout huddle and proceeded to guard Luka the rest of the way.
Yeah. If they also had shooting nights they would have won. Like c'mon Kat definitely could have been a bigger threat on offense but he didn't seem like it. I know the Mavs played good d, but this was basically great offense vs defense. If the wolves had put more into offense (maybe kat actually shooting well) they def would have won
Last night was the 2023-24 Celtics team in its fullest form. Elite across the board offensively and defensively, with tactical coaching and a wild crowd. Objectively an absolute juggernaut of an opponent for any team to face not only this year, but all-time
Nullifying Kyrie's prowess was instrumental in the celtics clinching the victory. However, this is just game 1 so let's see what adjustments Jason Kidd is going to make in game 2.
Brother.... yall let the East being "weak" narrative goto your heads, got things twisted. Celtics, Heat, 76ers and Bucks ALL destroy the Mavs lmfao and it's not even close. The Celtics are LITERALLY the BEST, MOST CONSISTENT Team in the Entire League.... get serious, it's more likely the Celtics sweep than the Mavs win at any point.
Havent had much thoughts on Brown other than that he is great. Coming back from last seasons and having great mentality he seems to have overcome some of his weaknesses. Truly deserving the salary he is getting and showing it here. Hats off. On the same beat, maybe Mavs could use Lauri here. Though he so far is not the defensive machine Porzingis is. I think noone should say that defense doesnt work in NBA anymore.
It felt like I'm watching the Dortmund - Real Madrid final buckets version, I love the Mavs 💙 but the C's are more experienced and will get their lucky "Larry" this time
