Terrorists rarely enjoy the killing, thats psychopaths who have mental illnesses, terrorists usually think of it as their duty. I truly believe he was sorry and didn't want to do it.
@@theq5369 if he was sorry about the bombings and regretted them do you think he would continue on to murder a police officer and attempt to murder even more. Along with the fact he came into the courtroom smiling
@@Pigeon249 he was scarred and knew he would probably get the death penalty, if you were being chased by cops who were gonna kill you, you would probably freak out and do something stupid.
@@theq5369 how would you know how a terrorist think? Do you wake up in the morning thinking "hmm.. I'm going to kill some people today because Allah deems it so."
He deserves this he knows what he did, he now feels bad? It's terrible to think something like that could happen anytime. I feel bad for the people of Boston.
@@potatochipz1014there is no such thing as making someone suffer as a penalty the death penalty is the maximum and Btw people say that he was chill In highschool and his friends said that there was no way that he would do something like that I guess humans are unpredictable. 🤷🏾
It's not about fixing things, It's about acknowledging what you did is wrong. Educate yourself. Like, hell I know what he did is bad and he is a murderer but saying sorry is never about fixing it back to how it was. sorry is about the realization of the wrongdoing. Also, not trying to justify what he did but use your brains, and tell me which person is ever born evil? There is good and bad in you, if you are around negative influence, you do bad things. It's terrifying to think about the influence he might have had around him. Now away from everything and thinking about it, he can at the least feel remorse for what he did.
@@chipskylark5086 no dumbass it means that sorry cant take back an action that occured. sorry is meaningless and the only thing that has meaning is thinking and choosing a good action over a bad one

@@chipskylark5086 well said, man. I dont mean to sympathize with a mass murderer/ maimer, but seriously, " if you're sorry, you would not have done it" is such a stupid phrase. The world is insanely complex, our world is grey. These people, however hurt and wounded, prefer to live in the Black and White. Maybe not even prefer, perhaps they are unable to see past, but still, that mentality and sentence are both stupid.
So why can't we see him speak? Every courtroom has microphones recording what is said. Why can't we even hear it? Why transcripts? While it may be true, no one believes the media anymore. They have destroyed their own credibility.
Dragoon’s game cave Sadly he’s probably serious. A bunch of people are in this comment section all claiming this was a hoax. Their stories each differ slightly, some stupider than others
I don't trust Katherine, Tamberines wife. I think she too was radicalized and knew what they were doing. I hope she is watched by Homeland Security for the rest of her life.
July 31st 2020: He’s now waiting to see if the court wants to keep him on death row, or leave him in jail for life and he’ll just die in there, by getting killed or by nature.
Yup as my dad and a lot of the world says don't be sorry if you did something that has consequences, otherwise you wouldn't have done it. The smile walking in yeah he wasn't sorry.
@@danielkirkland3366 calm down, it has been reinstated.....by democrats. Don't worry he'll get his death senten...I mean die behind bars like any lifer except costing way more tax dollars.
Funny to know that a man who kills 4 people and injures many more and makes innocent get the limbs amputated tries to apologize for something they knew would have been wrong in the first place. Some people do not deserve to breathe the same air as us.
Exactly, you can't be sorry for things you haven't done, so basically, his words don't even make sense. Secondly, you don't have to be a certain type of person to feel sorry. All you have to be is human.
It's been 4 years since the trial. It is time for him to give it up and lay down. Man up and except your fate. This is justice and maybe a message to others. A lot of people say it is not a deterrent. Why then do they fight so hard to avoid the death penalty?
“If he was sorry, he would have never done that.” Correct me if I’m wrong but the man who said that is so angry and empty from this, that logic is gone. HOW can you be sorry for something, by not doing it.
You're missing his point. He's saying that if he could feel remorse and had the capacity to feel sorry, he wouldn't have done it in the first place but he's clearly a sociopath. A person doesn't have to spell it out for you to get the full message.
The judge did not suffer from any of this - the only surprise is that he did not turn this guy loose granting him about a million bucks for his prison time and then turn him on to buddy lawyers to go sue the victims. Only in America.
He's not saying it literally, he's saying that he's not being honest because if he did care about how others would feel having their lives affected, he wouldn't have done his actions at all.
I hate that saying. “If you were sorry you would’ve never done it in the first place.” If he never did it in the first place there would be nothing to be sorry about. I mean to hell with the guys who did this but seriously we need to stop using a few of our idiotic phrases.
@@steammausss164 the fact that he did what he did and has the audacity to go about living his life smoking weed, having fun with friends all week a day after the bombing is what infuriates everyone. Saying you're sorry after you're caught is meaningless because we know he isn't. If he at least turned himself in then we can understand and perhaps a glimmer of forgiveness can be given.
"if he we're sorry he would have never did that." Never did understand that statment. Had he never done it he wouldnt have anything to be sorry for. Apologies come after mistakes have been made. Obviously I'm not defending a guy the exploded a bomb on innocent people, but what's the point of even trying to say sorry if you're just gonna say something like that?
It means that if he had any "heart" he wouldnt do it. In other words he does not believe his apology. And "sorry" does not mean shit to people that lost their limbs or loved ones.
@@bobsaget9675 If my child's killer said "im sorry", why does it matter if i believe him or not? It wont change ANYTHING about my life. Maybe our definitions of forgiveness are different.
Huge question of mine!! I’ve heard it’s because sometimes they don’t want execute the wrong person because new DNA evidence MIGHT show that it wasn’t that convicted person that pulled the trigger or something.. however there’s no question with this guy. I said he needs to spend a day with jigsaw
Time allotted to allow both sides to gather evidence and prepare arguments, along with the inefficiency inherent to any government system (DMV anyone?). It's necessary though to best avoid executing people who don't deserve it. Even with all this, innocent people are executed all the time. It's almost like the death penalty isn't worth it.
Billy Nunya Because they are allowed appeals. You do understand that innocent people have spent decades in prison and innocent people have also been executed. The justice system is broken. Remember that the innocent get entangled in its web of destruction.
Never should have let him speak. And no one should ever speak to him again. He should be in jail and they should treat him like he doesn't exist for the rest of his life.
Did anyone say he was good ? No, the guy needs to be put down. You are unable to take his words for what they are. A person realizing how brainwasned and wrong he was. Who the fuck said he was good ? You think, he thinks, he is getting off scott free ? Man, ignorant ass people in this comment section. The dude is a dead man, accept his apology, or stfu. No one is saying he deserves freedom or second chances.
I think he was just troubled and then when he realized what he did he snapped back to reality. We can't hold a grudge and the best thing to do is to forgive them no matter what they did.
Idk if his actions can be forgiven due to the lives he’s taken and ruined, but I think he can be given some sympathy if anything. It makes me wonder if he would’ve done what he did had his brother not been around? His brother was the true evil culprit who manipulated both his little brother and his wife. I truly think he was brainwashed by his older brother and influence from his native country and now he’s back to reality and regretting it.
Yes we can hold a grudge and no we can’t “FoRgIvE ThEm” or that shows Americans are weak and will let scm like this do it again. For months he could have snapped out of it before the bombing, during it he could have snapped out of it. In those 5 days where he robbed, took a hostage and killed sn officer he could have snapped out of it. He only “snapped out of it now” because he was caught and was going to jail for life.
It's not about a paycheck. It's to make sure that he can't say he didn't have a fair trial and escape justice through technicalities. *Someone* has to be his lawyer. Some want fame and interviews and whatnot, true, but others just want justice served.
@@tapio3376 Agreed. It isn't about getting people a "get out of jail free card" it's about making sure people have a fair trial (and closing exploitable loopholes for that matter..)
thats really disgusting, what type of human would watch, or even pay for someone, even though he did something terrible, he shouldnt be punished by something so inhumane
No one deserves to die. We don't make the choice of live or death. I not defending his actions nor am I saying he shouldn't be punished to the maximum, though he should get life in prison and get a feel for it in there. Taking his life will result in no gain.
Exactly he only said I'm sorry becuse he was sad/scared he might get death penalty. I hope someone bombs his legs off so he can experiance what all of those innocent people felt.
Death Sentence; To Be Executed; Execute within thirty days of sentencing, This will be justice, This will not stop all such murders, will be a deterrent to slow such murders, this will also save other innocent lives.
