I cried like a baby watching this. I have watched our big 4 grow both in the game and in character. I LOVE the Celtics and I cannot wait for us to get that 18th banner this year! GO CELTICS.
@user-uy5rh2bm7k this is for all the celtics legends that are no longer with us anymore. Let's appreciate the ones are still here 🙏 ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️💚💚💚💚🏀🏀🏀🏀☘️☘️☘️☘️💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Seeing pierce get emotional always gets me, dude was there when they were a struggling franchise, the year before they won the championship pierce sat out for the second half of the season because the organization didn't want him to get hurt and the teams record was so poor.
It’s 2023, opening night of the new season, seeing Denver’s ceremony made me wanna go back and watch our #17 again and I still tear up. I’m hoping I can come back this time next year and watch JT,JB,KP,Jrue and Al raise #18 and cry like I lost someone. Let’s go Celtics!!
Kg has been my fav player wince i stafted eatching basketball when he was on the wolves originally, this was amazing to re watch big shout out to pj brown and james posey who weren't shown but where key parts to banner 17 much respect.
12 LONG years man. they handled themselves extremely well. i would not have been able to play because i would be so overwhelmed. when doc rivers saw pierce crying, etc, he said to his staff "he's done."
You know the best thing about the 1st big three of this era getting there rings: Is that this was the last night these one hit wonders would ever get one...............
In 2007 and 2008, three Boston teams went to the championship, and the one team which was most likely to win was the only one which lost. That Super Bowl was one of the saddest moments, if not the saddest, in Boston sports history.
fuck it im a celtics and a lakers fan i dnt give a fuck even if ur ONLY an LA fan u have to give boston they respect. especially rondo, garnett, pierce, and allen. garnett pierce and allen been in the league for so long and FINALLY got they 1st ring.
our real family was in the 80s with Larry bird but now we still have great players and the lakers play a bit dirty but we can shine through 17 wins! Green and white forever
Seeing paul pierce cry makes me feel so bad, he was so loyal to the celtics. sad they traded him. him and kevin garnett atleast got a ring. TRUE CELTICS.
@Enemy1011 i believe posey was traded to the hornets or pacers in the 2008 2009off season..and this ring ceremony was held on the first home game of the 2008-2009 season, so Posey got his ring when the pacers or hornets played in Boston..
in a hilarious slam article, guys from wizznutzz wrote that bullets/wizards fans don't know what happens at a ring ceremony, or how you spell "threepeat".
um... go back to last yr and see that they took 7 games in the playoffs last yr as well, and then ended up champs. celtics have been injured all yr and the worst of the worst was losing KG and they still contest in the palyoffs. Thats something to be proud of and its obvious that its tough for them, theyre at a disadvantage... Kg is definately not the only reason celtics are a great team. so honestly all u ppl who criticize unfairly like children need to be quiet.
Lebron came Loyal and Respectful after 2011 because it taught him a lesson to become more Mature and Humble because he was a cocky guy in 2011 which punishment was loseing the NBA Finals at home 4-2
