Game 1 - typical Mavs getting blown out, happened vs OKC and LAC, Kyrie complete no show Game 2 - Kyrie complete no show, close loss Game 3 - Kyrie shows up, Luka plays bad defense, Kidd is a clown, roleplayers had a mediocre game Game 4 - Yeah Game 5 - Mavs completely shut down Celtics for long stretches of the game only to then brick wide open shots on the other end Celtics were always the better team on paper but pretending like it was an "obvious win" is idiotic, if Mavs did what they were doing in the western conference its a close series but Kyrie completely crapped his pants.

Honestly, just shows that the playoffs are about matchups, and sometimes it just comes down to who you draw in the playoffs. I would love to have seen the Nuggets vs. Celtics. That would've been a much better series.

The only reason Jokić's ring is impressive at all is BECAUSE it was a carry job, if we put it in the context of teams its not impressive even remotely, the Nuggets didn't beat a single 50 win team to get that ring, they beat the 42win Wolves, 45win Suns, 43win Lakers and then a 44win Miami in the finals. Mavs on the other hand beat nothing BUT 50+ win teams to get to the finals... 51win Clippers, 57win Thunder, 56win Wolves and then lost to the insanely stacked 64win Celtics off the back of Kyrie choke jobs.

He barked a lot, but couldn't back up any of it. Also noticed a lot of fans viewing his clutch/closer status a lot differently than they had before..Arguably the most skilled, but mentally weak player in NBA history.

What a pure hater you are. Just appreciate greatness. Kyrie was professional all year long, didn’t utter one word of controversy, just went out and balled out all season except the finals. Which was unfortunate but he had a great year and resurrected his career and relevancy at the highest level. And Luka carried a non-playoff team last year, started out the year 24-22, had a trade deadline shakeup, a rookie center, all of their main rotation 25 years and under except Kyrie, major injuries to almost every player in their rotation (Kyrie played 58 games, Lively 55, Dante Exum 55, Josh Green 57, Kleber 43). Luka averaged a 38 point triple double for the 19 games Kyrie missed with injuries just to keep them afloat. Keep hating on greatness though.

No one cares except Celtics fans. A mismatch. It was in the cards all year for them to win. As a Steph/Warriors fan I tried to watch the series and it was not an interesting pairing. OKC and even the Pacers at least brought relentless energy. These finals were lopsided.

Honestly, Mavs lost that series more so than Celtics won. There was nothing about their performance that was that crazy impressive other than playing some good defense. Aside from that they just jack up a million random 3s and pray they go in lmao
