It cuz player nowadays is more slasher, so they dont really need to defense, but after all it cuz of 3s violation rules and hand check thats why people not defending like they do in europe which is instead of 3s violation they make it 7s

​@machinarum This is a classic "guy who has no idea what he's talking about" take. Scores aren't higher because defenses are worse. They're higher because: 1) the pace is higher. 2) offenses have started prioritizing more efficient shots. 3) the overall skill level (particularly shooting), league wide is far higher. 4) the proliferation of shooting makes defenses have to defend far more space, which obviously makes defense much harder. "There's no defense these days" is lazy and uninformed.
