I did it, it's a fine recipe, the pastry cream is a little bit weird but good nonetheless; I had to do it three times because I'd mistaken my bag of cornstarch for the powdered sugar so it'd never thicken. I truly need to classify my ingredients. This channel is just awesome.
I'm a loser at baking, i never figured out why. I always had hope but i was so tired of my bake fails and then I decided to just for no bake stuff and came across your channel. i don't know how everything i make using your recipes turns out just perfect! i started making the baked stuff too and i was never disappointed (just once with the strawberry scones though). Have made this pie twice and everyone loved it! Was gone within a blink :D it was my perfection signified cake ^.^ Thankyou. :)
Trang Thu It's amazing, you can really taste the layers, the simple cake, the cream filling and the ganache on top. The cream in the middle is the piece de resistance, so that needs to 100% perfect. Along with the cake of course, just remember to stick a skewer in the middle so you know it's cooked and make sure it cools before you spread the cream on. That's all I can say tbh. I hope you like it, cause I loved it!

I made this cake last week, and it was AMAZING. We put it in the fridge for storage, and when the chocolate ganache hardened and the cream filling remained cold...you guys, it was to die for! Could I use this filling in eclairs, as well?
i tried this recipe and it came out great! love your channel a lot. ive got a question tho, on some cake or sponge recipe you cream the butter, but on some you melt the butter, what difference does it make to the cake? thanks
so addict with this boston cream pie. but i cannot make this.. i'm lack of ingredients and no oven.. so sad...but i substitute to steamer instead oven to bake the sponge vanila cake.. it looks like turn out right but little moist because the steam process vapour and evaporate into my cake.. hhehe
