What blows my mind is that mankind got a bunch of stuff out of the GROUND and put these together....from just materials......out OF THE GROUND!....AND FIGURED OUT HOW TO GIVE THEM ENERGY!!! :O Humans are amazing.
@@dmitripa172 They sell the dog robot but it's expensive. 74,500$ Some companies already bought some. The military had contracts with them and they're also for military use.

@@snowflakehunter That's not true at all. There are micromovements that the robot needs to perform to stay balanced that are not programmed in. Only the large movement are programmed in.
@@trygswyrmwoodside3229 It is true. What you are referring to is the stability system which is a stand-alone system outside of the primary programing. I stand by what I said: There was NO AI involved in this. The ONLY robot that Boston Dynamics has that uses AI is SPOT. This is straight from there website.

@@dmitripa172 I still remember the day Honda presented ASIMO to the world. Still feels like it was yesterday (even tho it was in 2000). I was so amazed at ASIMO's ability to walk, climb stairs, carry trays with drinks on them, it could even "run", well, almost.. It jogged like an old lady, but damn it was still really cool. Now, 21 years later, seeing these androids and robots dance, jump, run, climb, and balance on one leg etc. and with much more agility and confidence than myself, It's hard not to feel a bit... uneasy.
@ Skynet is a network that can't exist in reality due to current network models and neural net theories. On top of the fact that not having air-gapped weapons is just stupid. The military does not do that, lol. It's just science fiction, so no need to cling to fear out of your ignorance. What IS scary are multibillion dollar companies stealing and selling data to unregulated buyers (like Facebook). Edward Snowden is the upmost authority on this emerging technology (such as his designed Pegasus project, used by the NSA, now decommissioned). Our data is unprotected for the most part and identity theft is a pandemic still dangerously misunderstood. Dealing with the effect of everyone's personal data being easily obtainable is something we will need to deal with very soon. Just in case it's not implied, it's over a decade too late to protect your data, the public was not educated in this matter soon enough and we lost a virtual war we didn't know we were in. Now we just have to deal with the consequences of who has that data dn what they are choosing to do with it. You can say we made our own skynet out of our stupidity. It doesn't have a mind of it's own, it's just a very powerful tool created from ignorance that can be used by literally anyone to hurt you.
