Yeah actually. Boston didn't have a spare ladder for ladder 1 to use & they couldn't take ladder 1 oos so they gave them a pickup. Racingfan911 told me all about it. This seems to be not all that uncommon.
+jazzbutterworth The city has 8 E-One Metros on order this year. This should significantly increase the ladder spare pool with the older E-Ones and Pierces they're scheduled to replace.
