Boston MBTA Commuter Trains

Come along as we take a look at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's commuter rail system as it travels through the suburbs of Boston and other surrounding cities. You will see a variety of different commuter trains filmed in the winter of 2015 including some appearances of original MBTA F40PH locomotives, shortly before they were retired in the spring of 2015.

Lucius Chiaraviglio It sounds fouled because it was being quiled. It has to be on full blast. On full blast it sounds great! Except for 1053 and 1054 which have fouled restricted horns.

This brings back good memories of when I was kid when the screamers where screamin. The 2c’s Carrying the fleet and when they had real bells. And the GP40MC’s on the south side makes me happy. A lot has change since I was little.

Another great great collection filming of trains. Especially this one of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's commuter rail system. It is a fun and entertaining video to watch. At 3:38 is my favorite scene in the video with the light snow falling as the train rambles on. Thanks to CoasterFan2105 for all the effort and time I know it had to take to make this video.

Sure enjoyed this video of passenger trains in the Boston area. Here in Fargo, North Dakota the Amtrak east/west passenger trains arrive and depart at 2 AM and 3:20 AM, so it is rather difficult to take pictures of them. Thank you for providing this glimpse into the passenger rail traffic in the Northeast.

Seems that they mix different coach types completely at random except for making sure that they have a cab car at the end opposite from the locomotive. Wonder if they mess that up sometimes . . . .

christie L other way around. The recording of that horn was not edited in there! It’s the original recording! Rails unlimited just used that recording. Same with the Amtrak trains, I saw some of the original recordings from it too. I’ve been playin rails unlimited for a while and I know for a fact that these recordings are original and aren’t faked

OK we didn’t go all the way to Rockport but not train ride was busing that was Busan Busan we went over the bridge and we saw Caelan and David in the boat getting ready to go to Gloucester go to fishing
