I traveled to Boston, Massachusetts, for just a day, and brought my Panasonic G85 camera along with me. I shot most of everything with the kit lens, which gave incredible results astonishingly! I also integrated a blender bus scene for both the intro and ending parts of the cinematic.
As for filming, I kept the gear light and just shot everything handheld. For the lens, I used mostly the Panasonic kit lens, and just a few shots with the 25mm - both had an ND filter + mist filter. For editing, I mixed between everything - Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, and Blender. Crazy to see this all come together!
Music + some sfx I used from here -

Be sure to grab a pair of headphones to get the full experience! Ah we have reached the point where I can start integrating some blender 3D into my cinematics. I am really excited to incorporate this into my future projects as it's been on my mind for a while now. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this one! Also the craziest thing was most of this was shot with the Panasonic kit lens!

Love it. It's amazing what you can get out of a 6 yr old camera. It's so much more about the creator than the tool. Great job.

Thank you!! I used a solid amount from epidemic sound, and then mixed in with my other libraries haha (which stem from everywhere)😆 I left a free trial link in the description for epidemic if you want to try it! If not, you can search on youtube for some 'free cinematic sfx packs' and download those, if still available.

Your footage quality, shot selection are very very nice. As a G85 user, I really admire your work. Except nothing makes any sense because of lack of Context or any story. It's harsh but it's true. Even your sound design is awesome. Why don't you do some behind the scenes. why don't you show some boring story with your skills, I'll like one.
@TheCommodoreProductions
@TheCommodoreProductions Год назад
Thank you and really appreciate the feedback! Actually I've been trying to focus on bettering my storytelling, it's definitely something I want to improve moreso this year. I have some ideas in the works, which would be completely different than anything like my prior vids, which comprised of mostly conceptual and artistic flare 😆.

Planning to buy this camera this year, it is worth it in 2023? And how many hours before the battery dies when shooting 1080 60fps.. hope u notice.. thank u so much. Appreciate it😊
@TheCommodoreProductions
@TheCommodoreProductions 10 месяцев назад
Hey! so it really depends on what you are planning to shoot. Since I shoot short travel vids and stuff similar to that with this camera, my clips are short, so I can maintain 2 batteries pretty much throughout the whole day. That's also turning off the power in between and such. If you do longer shots, like wedding ceremonies or like longform interviews, then you need to take that into account. I have done that before and was able to get through 3-4hrs or more filming on 4k 24fps with two batteries and having the camera on the whole time (I might be off a bit but I think this is from what I recall) 1080p 60fps and 4k 24fps i think are fairly similar in my opinion, though i mostly use 4k 24fps now.

I have the same setup,but i have the 25 mm lens with kf variable filter on it can you tel me of i can fit a mist filter on it if yes wifh size?
@TheCommodoreProductions
@TheCommodoreProductions Год назад
It depends, since I got a mist filter at 82mm (i didnt have a choice in size since i won it from a competition), I stacked it with an adapter. That said, the k&f nd filter, I'm not sure if it has threads to put an adapter on top. My order would be - step up ring 48mm to 67mm> mist filter (67mm)> nd filter(67mm). But actually, I would personally go 82mm on all if you can, cause if you plan to move away from micro 4/3 you can keep those filters and use them for your new setup if the lenses are larger. You can put a step up ring between the mist and nd filter as well. You could also go vice versa with the nd and mist filters. Hopefully that helps!
