you have proven i can train my Boston Mongo to execute the entire music video "Thriller" from start to finish. Prly not as good a trainer as you by any means, but it IS possible.
My son, CJ, was given a Boston for his 7th birthday (he's almost 9). The Amish family we bought her from only had female pups available. CJ was disappointed because he wanted a boy dog. We sat on hand-made rockers on this beautifully built porch with three little girl puppies running around while we watched how they behaved. CJ was the on floor with the puppies; but CJ was not very enthusiastic. He really wanted a boy dog. There was only one puppy who noticed him. The rest were all over the place. She was the runt of the litter. She crawled up in his lap. CJ just looked at her. She licked his face. CJ giggled. She nibbled his ear. CJ named her Freckles. They are buddies. She is the BEST dog. Freckles is smart, energetic, loveable, sweet, and loyal. Bostons learn fast. They do have a downside, though. So before you run out and get a puppy you need to know that they have a real problem with gas. It isn't their fault. It's because of how their face is that air gets in when they eat, so they fart. Also, they shed quite a lot. Otherwise, they are wonderful dogs. I love her, and can easily overlook her unique "scent". Plus, I have someone to blame from time to time. lol
OOPS, I actually meant to thank you for sharing your wonderful video. When CJ gets home from school today I want him to watch it. Please, keep doing what you do. It's obvious you have a gift.
Wow oh wow.. You're an amazing trainer, equally amazing with Domi.. how did you teach her those tricks? That's awesome. And you have a very beautiful BT.
Domi is fantastic! Congratulations on so many tricks. I will have to study a lot of those so I can try to train my bostons to do too. I don't have as much imagination to make up new tricks. Wonderful work I will share it! Bostons rock!
Awesome tricks! I train my neighbors Bosten Terrier Geno. I'm trying to teach him the "weave" trick at 2:40. He goes through my right leg but is scared to go through my left leg. Is Domi a boy or girl Bosten terrier? Any tips on to teach "weave" for Geno???
OMGosh, I've seen different Boston's in action, but your Domi takes tricks to a whole different level of smart. Your training is totally amazing, good wishes. A Boston Lover
You've inspired me to work harder with my Boston. I rescued her last year from a puppy mill. At almost 4 years old she didn't know 'sit' or 'come' or even her own name. I've worked really hard with her and she's come miles, but some days she tires me out with behaviors I'm still correcting. Thank you for recording this, I needed to see it. :)
Amazing work. I have been contemplating adding a Boston to my family for a long time now, and videos like this really show how intelligent and fun they are. Thanks for sharing.
