You know an expert when they can walk - at a pace, through what looks like a jungle but rattles off the name of every plant as if they were his children. I have to come down there lol. Well done, Sean!
Wow that was a mouthful, “ Respect your employees so that want to do a good job.” Great advice for every business owner. I had no idea that the Dracaenas would get that big, amazing. Thanks Sean 💚💚💚
That was quite the adventure! Mr. Hambali’s property looks so wild but at the same time so purposeful. Love his hybrids and it makes sense that the sale of those plants helps to fund his research. Everyone benefits!
I'm about 10 minutes in and I can say that the series with Mr hambali is just awesome. Probably your best videos! More videos in this style would be very warmly welcomed, at least for me!
Whoa! Never in my lifetime, would I have had this amazing plant experience, without this video. I can now imagine the thrill it was to see in person. Thank you so much!
You definitely found your niche Sean, you’re a natural at asking all the right questions and info sharing. You’re a top notch reporter/interviewer!!! I’d want to get in there so badly and pick off all the brown foliage and rake the pathways!!! It looks dangerous! 😂 lots of hiding places for venomous snakes and crazy critters!!! And can’t believe you were able to keep the camera as steady as you did!! That’s growing as close to nature as you can get!
Right in the beginning when you were walking through the tall weeds I was just about to type a comment, saying "do they have ticks in this region?" and before I could hit send you mention cobras. LOL.
Didn't know Medinilla yet, but I do indeed see that it is sold by a lot of bigger plant shops here in NL :) I thought I knew the common ones (here) by now 😆 Plant world is just too big to know it all, that's what keeps it interesting. Always something to discover, check out, learn😄
Buahnya satu keluarga dengan longan dan rambutan... Daunnya mirip paku-pakuan... Ini syurga dunia???? Hufff... Hufff.... Sean... Terimakasih sekali lagi yaa....
Thank you for this wonderful, and fast moving video, wow, he moves fast 😁 The knowledge he has is astounding, I am in awe of both of you 😊 As for those variegated Thaumatophyllum hybrids ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m in South Australia and I’ve never seen those before, I need to add it to my wish list ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Sean. I have noticed in my plant conservation journey that the most bright and radiantly colored plants are from Indonesia. I hope you will feature more nurseries in Indonesia most especially those in Sumatra and Bali
I will try to, please DM me on instagram with suggestions of good nurseries to visit. So far no one has reached out to me, or stood out enough for me to visit.
@@onlyplants Will do Sean. I will do some research on the nurseries that are underrated. Also there are plant nurseries in Vietnam that are visit and vlog worthy. I hope they would be nice to allow you to film
Oh yes. what we commonly think as flowers are the bracts and flowers come out from them. Someone showed me how pollenation happens with calatheas by bees and its genius! They trap the bee temporarily in the flower
The nurseries here are spread out. But I guess I could recommend “jalan taman anggrek” next to Ragunan Zoo. Theres about 30+ nurseries/resellers there. It might take a while to go through all of them as it is large.
King cobras dont spit but they have feromon in their pee that would keep other snakes out of their nest. So if a king cobra nesting there, it would be no other snake around.
@@gusmanagusmana6669 think you read wrongly , i didnt mention a king can spit venom , and where you get info snake has pheromones to warn other snake ? never heard of it , only when mating they can detect each other of the same species
I see what you mean. He's practically ignoring the ornamental plants and I can hear your heart palpitating, hoping you can stop and discuss the ornamentals a little more. 😂
