Join me for a botanical garden tour of Longwood Gardens decorated for Christmas! There's lots of inspiration for garden themed ornaments and Christmas decorations made from nature.
Danielle you are always so thoughtful. Thanks for sharing this tour of Longwood. It’s hard to pick out a favorite tree! Also, I wanted to thank you for your excellent photography skills. You never jerk the camera around. It’s always a very smooth transition and I like the way you slowly pan so we can really see the different things you photograph. Thank you so much. ❤
As a former Marylander, Longwood was a twice yearly event, for the spring bulb shows and again for the holidays. with trips to the Brandywine River Museum to see my favorite artist, Andrew Wyeth, and lunch or dinner at the Chadds Ford Inn. What an expected treat to see this as I wake up in Seattle this morning! I speculate that first botanical dress is made with painted Gunnera leaves, and we're seeing the underside with all the ribbing. Our temps are mild enough that the Gunnera or Dinosaur Plant thrives in the Pacific Northwest. I've planted quite a few of them in various projects over the past 12 years. Thank you for posting! Merry Christmas.🎄
Omg I have never seen anything like this it's so glorious. The hens and Chick's christmas tree was so stunning at the beginning. The red dress was breathtaking what a masterpiece. I wish I could see this for myself so bad we have nothing like that where I live . Everything was so amazing
Thank you so much for the tour! I was blessed to have been a student at LWG many years ago and have forgotten how much joy and magic abounds. I live in MA so your tour is so very appreciated. My heart is full!
I love how you "tour" - it's never rushed, you always linger long enough for us to really appreciate what's on display. That's talent - thank you for sharing the Longwood Gardens Christmas display! I especially loved the gourd tree and hope to use our tree in the same manner after Christmas :)
I write this through misty eyes because the Wildlife Tree has just captured my heart as it features two of my favorite things: birds and gourds! I feel so blessed by your sharing of this exquisite place. I love the glitz and glamour of all the gorgeous trees and plants inside but the natural tree grabs my heart strings. Bless you for sharing. 🎄♥️ 16:34
Thank you so much for taking us along. I’ve been wanting to go back to Longwood Gardens for a very long time. We passed through it briefly once many years ago and I’ve been wanting to return. Thanks for recharging my motivation to get back there. 💚🎄
What a treat to come along with you on a guide tour of such a magical place. Your presence inspires peace and the spirit of the season. What a gift to have found your channel. My cats always gather around me to hear the natural sounds of birds, the outdoors and your peaceful videos. May you and your family be blessed by this holiday season.
Thanks for this tour at Longwood! So timely, festive & inspiring! Every year I try more & more to incorporate natural, foraged elements and this was chock full of them! I have to watch again to make my own list! Thanks!
Thank you Danielle for taking us on a beautiful tour. So much to see, so I'll have to watch it again. I am warming up after planting my last bulbs. We just got 4 inches of wet, heavy snow 2 days ago. I just received my last bulb delivery of Ambassador allium, various Camassia and Ixiolorium and they are now in the ground!
Wow. Im watching this on my desk computer with large screen. This place is so magnificent its indescribable . Thank you so much for showing us such a fantastic Christmas display.
What a delightful tour. I was so hoping you would do another one for us this year. I especially loved the natural chandeliers. Something very doable for ones own yard.
Those trees are beautiful, but personally, I think your tree in your previous video this year rivals those! Definitely! It is all lovely though, makes me feel like they combined what we love about The Southern Christmas Show and The Southern Spring Show… Christmas decoration and plants.
Thank you so much Danielle for giving us this gift of a tour❤ it is just breath taking! So many beautiful sights😍 A wildlife tree would make me so happy too🎄❤️
This place is beyond incredible! I have never seen anything like this! Thank you so much for sharing this with the rest of us. Definitely putting a trip to Longwood Gardens and that Conservatory on our dream list of places to see.
Thank you for the beautiful tour. I’ll be visiting at night in the week after Christmas, so I appreciate the daytime views in your tour. Merry Christmas!
What a wonderful tour. I don’t think I have to go because you brought it to me. I’m sure seeing it in person is simple adorable. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks so much, Danielle! If you haven't already done it and have a chance, you should try to see the Christmas train show at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx 💚🎄💚
Danielle, thank you for the lovely tour. I’ll be going after the new year. I’m like you, I go through during the day to see all the flowers, then have dinner at 1906, then stay and see the gorgeous light displays. It’s truly magical ❤. Merry Christmas to you and yours
So beautiful mixing dried botanicals with the other decorations, the people there are so creative and what a gift to your community! Thanks for sharing, hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
This is truly magnificent! I will have to watch this again on a big tv screen so it feels like I am there, never seen anything like it before and lots of ideas too, for us to do next Christmas, thank you for making this video!
Danielle, this was the best holiday gift! Like many others the hens and chick tree, and the outdoor tree were my favorites! So much beauty and talent to see. Your tour allowed me to remember my sweet mom who is no longer with me but seeing this gave me a wonderful chance to think of what would have been her favorites, too. Merry Christmas to you and yours, and finding your channel has been a true gardener’s delight🎄
Thank you for bringing us along on your tour of Longwood Gardens, that really is a gift to the area you live in. :D Merry Christmas and blessing to you for a prosperous and wonderful New Year.
Thank you for sharing this lovely garden show....it has meant more than you can imagine for me. Being alone in one of the most horrible winter seasons here in eastern Washington with excessive snow, ice and now today a power outage this has lifted my spirits.
