Between the fig story, the Disney Princess soundtrack and the comment “And everybody knows that females are the rulers of the Earth”, this episode had me rolling in laughter and completely charmed. 😂❤tx
Jack...A suggestion for you that when your boys reach the age of 7, 8, or 9 you let them experience living through Fall, winter, Spring, and the beautiful Summers in Northern Michigan for a rememberable lifetime of memories!!!
My favorite spot was the Lilly pond beneath the bridge. The huge trees are amazing. The lower trunk of the pony tail tree looks like an elephants foot😀. Thank you for sharing this beauty🌳
Wonderful, Jack!!!! Too short. Want to see more. Definitely impressive!!!! How fortunate to have experienced ❤ Thank you! Nice to see they also feature Chihuly's works! 🥰
That was so cool to see. What an amazing place. Thank goodness for those travellers who set off and brought back all kinds of goodies! Thanks for sharing another great video. 🙂
Thanks Jack for this tour. I didn't realize that trees could get so big in Florida; I've never seen a Pony-Tail Palm so huge. We're going to make a special trip to this beautiful place. I think it's only 1-1/2 hours from us. Thanks again.
Thank you for the beautiful tour that Ponytail palm is unbelievable. I was able to see The Chihuly Exhibit at The New York Botanical Gardens a few years ago, his work goes so well in gardens. That was my dream😀
Nothing compares to El Yunque National Rainforest in Puerto Rico. The only Tropical Rainforest in the US, all natural and awesome. But this imitation of a Tropical Rainforest is cool.
Interesting info of the Cluster Fig, makes me a little reluctant about opening figs, but perhaps that is just with that variety. Love figs. This was a beautiful video❤
Alright Jack, I told you before you are an amazing teacher. I love it when you show us awesome gardens and your amazing designs but..... I still will never eat a fig. Just no. LOL (PS I saw you throw that fig on the ground by the way!)
It's nice to see such a beautiful place. The tropical rainforest is interesting but there is another rainforest in the lower 48: Washington state has the Hoh rainforest in Olympic National Park. It is a temperate rainforest & quite beautiful.
You need to watch the documentary “The Queen of Trees”, think it was a Nature doc, it’s extremely detailed in how this odd relationship works. Loved it.
Oh my gosh! I'm amazed and my mind is whirling, like if I add misters can I actually grow fern, in Reno Nevada, which I'm used to coming from Nova Scotia canada? And many more? Oh gosh what an gorgeous tour! Thank you so much#
Jack in St Petersburg, florida (near Tampa) there is a botanical garden called "Sunken Garden" = very old beautiful tropical garden as well, near the down down area.
@@jeanniegoldberg5931 Sorry to correct you, but the Tropical Rainforest at Fairchild is not a real tropical rainforest. It's man made. The only Tropical rainforest in the US is "El Yunque Tropical Rainforest" in Puerto Rico.
