Came across your RU-vid channel via a Pinterest post, and was delighted to see that you construct/design your folios in a manner so similar to my own! Just beautiful work and love your video delivery. So easy to follow❤️!
I’m blown away by the beauty of this project. Im def going to make this (forget all others I planned on lol). One thing im struggling with the dimensions of the file folder cuts, score lines. I got that the overall size depends on book pages. What if my file folder doesn’t have the gusset already… I need those score lines distance measurements please 🙏🏼 funny I prefer to measure by marking as well despite being a math major lol. Love love botanicals and this is so perfect! Tfs and inspiring us!! Lovvve the music too btw! PS: wish it wasn’t sped up so much bcoz now I’ll be spending lot of time rewinding, pausing for each step to understand the construction. Pros are good at making it easy, I’m an intermediate crafter who hasn’t done this type of complex construction.
I'm so pleased you're making along! Ok for this journal the central spine is about 1.5cm and the side ones about 0.5cm (it just depends on how much extra bulk you want to add inside really). Did you know you can slow the video down? Just click on the cog icon in the corner of the video and you can speed it up or slow it down 🙂 Happy creating!
Awesome. When you showed it at the beginning , I would never have believed it was made with a file folder. How does the pritt stick go with the shiny, surface . Does it stay stuck . Tfs
Thanks Debbie and thanks for letting me know about the volume. I havn't had any other comments about it but I will make sure I double check all my settings when I record the next one just to be sure 🙂
Oh my goodness! I LOVE your method of getting those little smudgey blobs of ink on the pages! Acetate! That's brilliant! You can see exactly which little blob is going where. Maybe that's a common technique, but I've never seen it. Definitely using that in the future. THANK YOU.❤
Absolutely beautiful work!! I'm going to try to do this thank you so much for the process videos! I love the fact that you speed through this parts but explain what it is you're doing and have just light music on in the background!
