is it bed liner coated on the bottom as well? how is the drag with the texture?

Yes it’s on the bottom of the boat and the drag is nothing. I push this thing 19mph with my 9.8hp Evenrude.

@@LiveWild-yt5dj I ended up painting on gel coat instead. It’s doing ok, but I need to re do it. I don’t think I prepared it well enough

@@timsummers3780 yeah the raptor liner is tough and it covers up any blemishes you might have with the rough texture.

How long did it take for the gator shell to start flaking off.

I bought mine used but I’d say anywhere from two to five years. How I restored mine I think it’s tougher than the gator shell. If it gets a scratch just touch it up with the same bed liner you painted it with.
