I have two daughters. I sincerely hope that when they grow up they have as close a relationship as you two have. Andrea, this is a serious comment coming from a 58 year old that has seen over 100 concerts. I wake up every morning to a siren in my right ear and a high pitched whistle in my left. Once I get up and moving, it calms down, but I always hear it. Hearing loss is no joke so protect your hearing and have fun!
Bc there are a lot of jealous men who think the reason these two women are more successful than them, is because they got their success handed to them on a silver platter (for their looks). It soothes their ego to believe the botez sisters are untalented and undeserving rather than see that they are solid entertainers who have pushed out content consistently for years
Loved her reaction when Andrea said, "honestly, true" to "logic is not the strong trait women have". Don't worry, Alex, we know what's really true: logic is not the strong trait younger siblings have.
The outbursts don't mean she's crazy. They mean she has personality. Maybe there's a bit of eccentricity in there, but I think a smidgeon of harmless eccentricity is endearing.
I unironically would love to hear Andrea develop her singing! I think that raspy voice of hers would sound great belting out some soul (but maybe not Queen songs).
I was grinning and smiling all the way through this great video, and now my jaw is aching a bit. Also getting a bit loud if you lose at chess, just shows how much passion you have for the game.

If I had to guess, most of the people who take their hate out on the sisters are really upset at the simp followers. Simp fishing has been going on for sometime within car enthusiasts and sport spaces for as long as I can remember. Men tend to be vulnerable to a woman who share the same hobbies. Maybe they dislike the feeling of being manipulated. Some men find the collaboration to be offputing and rather have the woman be either sexy or commited to the sport, not both. Perhaps these men don't like to mix the 2 things they love. In fairness, simps are just as sexist and this is why these women will never date a subscriber. It must be nice for these ladies to be able to earn a nice living and not have to ever see these simps face to face.

Hi Girls, I have been following you for close on 4 years now, you were the ones that got me back into playing Chess again, thank you for that. Just found you guys on RU-vid recently. Your videos are very entertaining. By the way, I have two daughters in their twenties - one married and one engaged - who live together. The couples share a house. It’s nice to see sisters who are also each others best friends.

I am glad you both can work your way past them and again I hope that you both continue to do these videos for as long as you can ... Sorry put Kasparov is 12-1 vs Polgar with 4 draws. Winning a single game isn't really beating him, let's be realistic here. In any tournament setting she is toast against him.

Quite a delightful duo, even though I’ve watched only couple videos, I enjoyed the similarities and the contrast between your characters. Also you don’t use cheap appearance for clicks which honestly very rare nowadays.
Andrea definitely pushes the fit/pretty/sexy/party angle much more than Alex. It’s probably just her personality as well as her online persona (wandering nearer to other less wholesome online categories that just happen to make huge money). Andrea’s “style,” if you will, has the additional side-effects of making people think she’s a teenager, attracting creepier people to her specifically and making the sisters’ collective enterprise feel far less serious than even the next pretty chess streamer’s (maybe that’s Anna Kramling with whom they have a love-hate relationship which is drama and that also makes $). I believe this vibe attracts more of a certain element (which is basically everywhere online) to their content than to Levy Rozman’s or GMHikaru’s content for instance.
There are so many intimidated, insecure “men” out there. Sure im insecure, but its cause body hair. Also we need to normalize not having kids. Love you ladies. Keep up the great videos.

I recall a thing that they used to call "Primal Scream Therapy". It was claiming that it was healthy to yell & shout, etc, in order to release built-up tension. You should totally cite this against those Haters. P.S. What is the criteria for deleting videos? The far majority of us men know either of you would obliterate us in chess! But there are always ones with too much testosterone who make for good content like this.

I love the comedy! 😀 I think you're both great! Alex is the smart one, and Andrea is the funny one, and I feel you're both good at the opposite, it's just where your strengths lay. I personally could do without Alex's raging, but I totally understand it. Only real issue is my own mental health issues not handling anger very well. But that's why I just turn the volume down for those moments and continue loving your content anyways
What I like about the video is the girls aren't getting all angry and spitefull and giving "clapbacks" (hate that word), but taking it all in good spirit (even when the comments are legit mean).
I'm with you ladies. Focus on your personal pursuits and passions. Forget the whiners, the contemptible, the dejected and the miserable jealous nose pickers. Fulfillment of purpose is the path to happiness and contentment.

Common, I have a rating of around 1600 and I love playing chess. The guy who said he is 2300 and called sisters, not chess players is quite arrogant. If you love playing chess, you are a chess player regardless of your ELO.

To Alex and Andrea, I am 900 elo rated and a boy. Thanks for all these video's. I am a big fan of both of you and found you guys helpfull for learning new openings like the London System I never used it before but after I have seen your video's I started to use it more and I won more of my chess games so I really thank you guys for this. And forget what the haters say they will always be there and that helps you to get back on top better than ever. (And I destroyed as well a monitor thanks of a chess game so yeah).
That was great. So many people take themselves way too seriously. The ability to laugh at yourself is perhaps the single best indicator of a healthy, emotionally mature personality.
Perhaps people just like to hate? I'm certain that if these girls were to disappear, the majority of their haters would start missing them almost immediately. I'm not a frequent watcher, but whenever I do - the content has consistently been a positive part of the day.
I'm a guy and I think this is a great video...a year ago Polgar played a blitz game with Magnus in Spain and beat him. If more women were playing professionally in chess not just 14%, there would be many more super Grand Masters and the differential rating for men and women could go away.
I usually don't watch videos like this , but these two crack me up , - it's like they are naturally funny without even trying to be funny - the Alex "freak outs" during games are comedic-gold ...
2:42 Let me educate you girls. For starters, Judit Polgar, now long retired from professional chess, was indeed the best female to ever play chess, way back in her prime. She was strong enough to play with the men, and did in fact play with the men. But even this fantastic outlier never even came close to even competing for the world chess championship title. She never even qualified to play in a chess candidates tournament. As for her record against Kasparov, it is abysmal. In classical chess (for the unacquainted, this is the most serious form of the game with the slowest time controls) Kasparov beat Judit five times, drew twice, and never lost a single game. in rapid/exhibition games, Kasparov again completely dominated Judit with seven wins, two draws, and only one loss. And this was the best female player of all time. So yes, the comment about the best female players not being able to compete with the best male players is absolutely true.
Don't listen to anybody but yourselves. If you get along with each other and want to live together, then do it. Too many stigmatize family members living with each other, but in times not too far past, and really today in some cultures still, generations of family living together wasn't outside the norm.
