When you buy Both Pixel Tube lights, they come with (4) additional screw caps. I took the (4) caps with no holes, to a machine shop and had them drill a microphone thread, 3/4 of the way through, along with (2) small breathing holes, for sound activation. It was $100. for all (4) caps to be drilled. Now, I attach the new caps and attach to heavy duty 'Atlas' round base mic stands. They work perfect! You can add extra stability by adding round sandbags to mic stands.
@DjPetroni I'm so glad to hear that so many DJs found ways to mount their 360 pixel tubes without relying on Both to create something affordable, dependable and easy to use. Both Lighting really failed us on the stands but that's okay. We're all making it work by ourselves and saving money in the process! 😊
@@DJ2Legit007100% you’re right, i have bought k&m round base mic stands (cheaper than both stands) and they work and look perfect 👌🏽 also not quite happy with chargers cables that comes with tubes, they are really bad quality … other than that love this lights, got 8 btw . Watched all your videos, keep doing the great work 🙏👍
Honestly this is better than their Flimsy stands we purchased 8 of them and they are pretty wack ordered the adapter from Amazon while we were waiting for the stands and actually REGRET buying them they strip easily and are time consuming to disassemble and are NOT as Sturdy as Onstage Cheap adjustable stands with a $5 adapter SMH
2 Legit to quit! Thank you for this video, I purchased 8 of these and wanted 4 of the stands but so agree that they are incredibly expensive. $500 for 4, what? Again thank you and I really enjoy your videos.
Brother I did the same thing with my tubes. Thanks for shearing amigo. Oh btw I'm building an entire new console and stand. I'm using lessons learned from the first console and lighter materials. Video wil be out soon. 😊
Why did you buy 4 screw on adaptors? You should have called the company and said you only needed two or you will have to find an alternative, lol. Just messing with you. I’m a fan. Keep the videos coming. Great work sharing the knowledge.
I just added my own mic stand and used the same attachment. Please confirm that putting the tubes on these stands feels very wobbly where the attachment connects to the tube. It is not very secure, correct? Will be wobbly and best to keep behind the dj.
Why do some of the tubes look like they are not 100% vertical? I notice other vids from other DJs as well. Whether they use the custom stand or the included stand.
Your link for the Both tubes are from the China location. Did you buy from them or the US location with Rick? If China, how long did it take to arrive? The US site is like $200 more. Happy New Year!
I bought directly from China. They arrived in about 5 business days. They say worse case scenario from China is about 15 business days. It just varies but I've bought a lot from them. Never takes 15 days.
@@DJ2Legit007 I forgot to ask you. Are you familiar with the glotubes? They offer 6 for $570. I was wondering, if you didn't have either. Which one would you go for? Glotubes or the Both 360?
@@billpatterson9361 For me, it's the Both 360 pixel tubes. They are both good options but the glotubes don't support dmx so I can't use them with Soundswitch. Also I'm not too sure about their dependability and battery life. However they do look nice. It all depends on your needs.
@@DJ2Legit007 Thanks for the Heads up reviews on both items. I just purchased 4 19/15 Movers from both. I plan to purchase 8 Titan tubes around spring so this was very useful information. Many Thanks & keep up the good work Fam!
