In his rampage phase, if you don’t want to be cornered against a wall, you don’t have to move back, Jump, move back, jump. You can just jump jump crouch.
If you don't move back at all I've had times where I just get stuck crouching under the boss so I can't jump the second swing but you indeed don't have to move back THAT much

@Ryja You should Rousing Rhythms first, the +2 will and +2 resourcefulness it grants extends the duration of your following song buffs significantly for minimal effort.
rock fall is not rng, i farm cyclops on gob caves and dont get hit, you just time the jump and a d while jumping or w s, i got clips of multiple flawless cyclops runs if you want me to share :3
bard is the best default gear class to kill bosses, he gets a rapier and has buffs plus shriek making the boss take 42% more dmg if anything bard is the easiest.
