I am moved by the whole fashion collection and especially by the sound layer, that evokes almost prophetically what we are living in right now. The harbour sirens in the opening, the sound of the wind, the muffled beats and the whole inhospitable environment evoke so much of the subliminal concern about the future of our societies, communities and humanity. I appreciate to see that artistic expression in fashion can provoke urgency for change, and firstly - of ending the brutal violence that nowdays took over the world through armed conflicts.
In amongst the sober and conventional coats and jackets, little flashes of inspiration. Particularly like the skirts and dresses draped and pinned at the shoulder and hip. Would love to see how those are constructed. Something for everyone here.
