Fantastic finds , I used to bottle dig way back in the mid 80s and I found a tremendous amount when the now Swansea hospital , decided with the local council to take the garden plots away and wow my friend and I were in stand by with permission of the diggers . Omg we raked in hundreds of beautiful bottles . Now a word of warning ⚠️. I put my hand 🖐 is as you do and I paid a price , cut open knuckle and I have stitch’s . Get your self a good pair of heavy duty gloves . Well done on your dig 👍
What a great dig Tom, your excitement when you dug the ginger beer was just gold i could totally relate how you felt. As i have been digging for around 30 years & have never dug a complete ginger beer but when i do it will be going in the cabinet. Well done mate keep the vids coming.
Cracking bottle dig Tom and that momnet you found the Ginger Beer was exactly like when I found my first one as like you I just do not find them complete, pretty much the same as Codd bottles lol. I'm well made up for you finding those Ginger Beer bottles mate, all those years of digging make up for it. Nice one on that Hull lid mate. Well all I can say is that was great dig that I would have loved as much as you did
New subscriber! Found you through Dirty Secrets of Scotland. I enjoyed you video! I look forward to catching up! What a great dig! Congratulations on your finds!

ah man! the pharmacist lid!!! that's my great, great grandfather, Frederick Staveley Temple. was a pharmacist and amateur photographer. nice to have a business address cos I didn't have that. screenshotted the vid and I'll be sending a copy to my mam who'll be well chuffed.
I came across your channel purely by chance as I usually watch mudlarkers but I like treasure hunting so maybe RU-vid thought I would be interested in yours too and they were correct! One thing I noticed instantly without looking at any other videos is your accent .... I was born and bred in Kirkby-in -Ashfield, but have been living in the south west for 20 years. Anyway it was nice to hear you speak as well as your finding interesting objects ... great videos !
Fabulous dig Tom, your dig today was amazing. I am so so happy for you being able to dig up bottles that you've never dug before. 3 lovely inks and an amazing lid. Congrats, but you deserve it for all of your hard work Tom. Till your next video...
Wow! The Ginger Beer! Best bottles ever!! Love the Cog bottles too! (not sure if that’s how to spell it) A fantastic dig!! Thanks for sharing them! Be safe and HH 🎧⛏
Another great vid mate. Quick question, we been digging what we know is a fantastic tip, dug last around 30 years ago.. Now we are digging down around 4 feet and getting to clay. Have you ever come across a tip capped with clay?
Wow! VV nice gingers matey well done and well deserved after all that hard work. I do enjoy your vids and share the excitement that i used to feel in my digging days sadly now disabled so can only dream or watch vids - keep em coming your helping keep me sane LOL! Good luck for your next dig Cheers Ian (used to be "Bottleblioke" on forums back in the day.)
Having a gin & lemon with my wife and she’s watching housewives from somewhere, and I’m watching you digging up brilliant stuff!! What more can a man ask?!⛏
Hello! I am new to your channel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Those ginger beer bottles are gorgeous! I live on the east coast of the US, so I'm just a hop over the pond from you. Boy, that was some work out from trying to get through that top part. How long have you been digging? I've been digging for 55 years and I have never seen a Ginger beer like those with the beautiful text. I have a bottle that looks like the ginger beer bottle only it still has the original label on it and it is a Guinness Beer bottle. That one is worth quite a bit because it is a numbered series bottle & because the condition of the label is mint, but that will stay in my collection. I do long for a cod bottle. If you ever interested in a trade, I would be happy to pass on a nice US bottle for a cod bottle. Especially if the glass marble is still inside. I just love the neck on them. Let me know if you are interested in a trade. Oh, and count me as a new subscriber
Congrats on the ginger beer, it's amazing! Oops the the ginger beer bottles! I love the bell ink...never seen that before. Actually all of the finds were awesome. I would love to know the origin of the term tip. Thanks for sharing:)
do you send /sell bottles overseas to Canada?, if you do, could you provide us with a link to view and purchase your bottles, thanks again, really entertaining videos.
