I couldn't resist anymore after watching all the vids of this rig. Picked up a raw builder's kit, Fusion 1200kv, Reefs servo, ordered all the Rock Pirates parts for the Scx10, Proline Super Swampers XL on aluminum beadlocks. I still need to pick up a radio and servo winch but im really looking forward to getting started. Thanks for all the vids and tips and tricks. Keep them coming.
Try doing exploration on a bicycle. People these day don't know their own area more, than they don't know other areas. Sounds stupid, but it's true. Oviously, you won't find mountains next door, that you didn't know about, but you most likely gonna get a surprise faster, than you can fall of the sofa ;-p
I'm one of those people that like to go out and winch and make it super realistic.. "hand of god" free runs is what we call it .. makes for some fun trailing. Great to hear more people are putting gates in that require winches and some skill.
Hey that’s awesome man! Definitely do what you like! I have so much area to drive usually if I can’t make it I just say it’s not possible and move on. But I’m a spot like this I have to winch to get to the top.
GOOD MORNING LOGON. THANKS FOR POSTING ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO SIR. I LEARN LOADS WATCHING YOUR DRIVING SKILLS AND YOUR COMENTRY IS SO HELPFUL. YOUR BACK YARD TO DRIVE IS JUST AMAZING SIR. VERY LUCKY. 🇬🇧🇺🇸🕊️✌️👍
That was some great crawling. Don't have anything like that in ohio. But we did build our own backyard couse which is pretty amazing. Great vid as always. Happy Thanksgiving
Logan, appreciate all your videos. I’ve built a similar rig with the Element Sendero. What is that piece you have at the back of the chassis that goes across?
What shock do you prefer to run on the scx10 ii? I keep reading about traxxas big bores or trx-4 shocks but I like the look of the proline shocks. Any suggestions?
Nice truck. Wish I had a place like Sand Hollow or Utah in general to crawl at. Just finished building my Phoenix, still need to paint the body. And my Scx6 is ready to go. What brand wheel are you running?
I have these scheduled to release at certain times. Thanks man I appreciate that, yeah I thought it was very nice of Matt to say that. He’s dropped a few comments so I know he has seen a few of my videos, always greatly appreciated!
A lot of guys go on about how crap the Desert Lizards are? Funny, how many comp rigs I see them on, lol. The fact is, the number of adjustments on these shocks requires considerable testing and tuning knowledge. I won't say you have to be a Pro but setup on these things is a 'process'! Definitely aimed at the Comp crawler or more experienced builder.
@@brianonthego right I’m running 80% droop and I’ve tried short soft/medium soft , short medium/medium medium and now I have short soft/medium medium. Oil I’ve trie 30,35,45 but no luck yet.
@@jerryvolpini7987 I liked the short medium/medium medium spring setup and the articulation was good less than a tire up front and right at a tire rear 4.7” tires. My overall weight is 5lbs and 3.5lbs sprung weight.
I removed the small springs and replaced the larger springs with the softest choice that comes with them. Then I drill out the 3 little holes in the black plastic plunger ring with 1/8 drill bit. Filled them with 15w oil. Perfect droop/flex on my 6.9 lbs scx10.2
Second question: to get to where you are now on that build would it be “easier/ better” to start with the element rc chassis or the axial? Thanks again
