Just found this video while searching for info for my KX-121. FYI, the fitting that was leaking at the main pressure line at the pump doesn't need to be turned. You hold the fitting from spinning with a wrench, then tighten the nut at the bottom of the fitting against the pump port. There's an o-ring under that fitting. This type fitting is made this way so you can position the fitting any direction you want and still be able to tighten it to seal it. Also, there's a small hydraulic pilot filter in that same area against the back of the cab that should also be changed.

Hey Python! Thanks for checking out my video! You are correct about the pilot filter, I discovered it about a week later lol. Thanks for the info on the main hydraulic fitting I'll definitely try that next time.

Wow, I just saw your comments, that just answered two questions I had. I have the same leak on the pressure line from the pump. I knew I couldn’t get another turn on it and couldn’t get it tight. Also, I’ve been looking for that pilot filter housing on this machine and couldn’t find it. Is it best to access from engine compartment? I also have a leak underneath the cab. I guess I’ll be pulling the floor board. I will say that I’ve own this machine since new and have had very little trouble with it and it now has 4600 hours on it. And those are work hours, not idle hours as I’m a private contractor and if it’s running, it’s digging

@@timwarzecha6415 I got to that filter from engine compartment with the left rear panel removed. It's tough to get to no matter what you do.

@@timwarzecha6415 yes, the pilot filter is in the engine compartment. Look on the wall, left side while looking at the engine. It’s bolted to the back panel by the fuel tank. Yea, there is so many hoses in the floor panel. I just had to grab them one by one until i found the loose one. Sucks I had to remove a few to get to it but better than having the leak. That’s great hrs for one of these with not any problems! Stuff is bound to eventually come loose I guess🤔

@@jamesofalltrades479 Thanks for your help, much appreciated, I was beginning to think it wasn’t on this machine. Yes I’m going to delve into that next week. I was so happy with this machine I bought a KX 161 also. I’ve been thinking of selling the KX 121 but I’ve had so little issues with it and it’s a machine that’s pretty simple to maintain I’m thinking of keeping it and seeing if I can get it to 10k hours
