Welcome back to the Evergreen Valley Farm Timelapse. With harvest season upon us and no combine harvester in our equipment lineup, we attach a low-bed trailer to our truck and head to the dealer. There, we purchase a mid-priced combine harvester and transport it to our barley field. Despite this significant investment, we still have enough funds to buy a factory dedicated to the production of grocery products. Returning to the field, we put our new harvester to work and begin harvesting the barley.
At our newly acquired production facility, we can process soybeans into two valuable products: oil and milk. Since we don't yet have our own soybeans, we sell some of our barley to purchase a soybean field, which we promptly harvest. Additionally, we collect straw from the fields to fuel our mini gas plant. This not only provides the electricity needed for our operations but also produces methane and digestate.
