Very nice purchase. I recently purchased a preloved Chanel medium classic flap in black lambskin with SHW. From what I have researched, all Chanel medium flaps are made in France. This was definitely my motivation for purchasing this bag and adding it to my current collection. 😍
Beautiful bag Maria. Congrats. Just a suggestion, try and refrain from extending the chain. I know you can't wear it cross body but that is part of it being a medium classic chanel bag. I personally wouldn't let any other company other than Chanle touch my chanel bag.
Your makeup is so pretty in this video and goes perfectly with your new stunning bag. Incredibly jealous but it's a great choice. I'll consider by Chanel seasonal pieces but I don't think their classic pieces are worth the price considering the quality.
Maria, the medium classic flap in Beige Claire is my dream bag as well. I had been looking for the exact same bag as you 2 years ago and finally settled on the Boy in that color combination. I definitely regret it now as the price of the classic flap is $6,500 in the U.S. Enjoy your bag!
Congrats on your first Chanel Classic. I have few medium classics as well as few other Chane bags but do not think that the ever decreased quality of their bags corresponds to their prices. Therefore, will now concentrate more on Hermes bags. It does not mean that I will not buy any Chanel bag ever however, definitely will now think twice about before purchasing.

Btw I agree cavier with gold hardware in that beige eclair color is perfect in med size. It’s not classy looking in lamb skin and silver hardware
I sent my Chanel Classic Flap Medium to a company in the US and they put on an entirely new chain that was longer as I wear it cross body. They also send you back the original shorter strap they removed for you to keep in case you want to reattach it later. In Florida the they opened up two weeks ago and at first it was by appointment only. Then after a week you could make appointments or you can wait outside in a line as they only allow a limited amount of people in at a time. Looking for that bag in a jersey material. ❤️👜

Moreover, I like other Chanel bag style: I bought a medium Business Affinity in beige caviar and LGHDW two weeks ago as birthday present 🎁 for 3.350 euros, it didn’t have price increase, it’s a gorgeous bag and it’s nearly half price of a classic in the medium size; I want to buy a Coco Handle and a boy bag next. I already own a square and a rectangular mini but I would like to had more in the future, they are expensive but still not crazy expensive like double flaps.

It’s so pretty! I have one Chanel small classic flap in pink. The only other one I think I want is a medium in black, but I go back and forth... I tried it on and it seems boring...like I don’t get excited like I did with the pink.

I was never interested in any of the classic flap or other really sought after Chanel bags, so I’m not fussed over the price increase. I did get a little nostalgic over seeing the Chanel tissue paper (does that make me weird?), since I haven’t purchased any Chanel in about six or seven years (pretty sure I still have the tissue paper stored in my shoe boxes). The only thing I’d consider purchasing (apart from shoes) is a WOC. We’ll see, maybe it will happen one day, there are so many other bags (& other items) ahead of anything Chanel on my luxury wish list.

I brought a secondhand small classic chanel bag with real 24k gold for about AUD $7666. Which I'm glad! It was in such great condition with better value. But I do want at least one brand new and get that chanel store experience! I'm eyeing either the cc handle in chivron or the coco handle! Or the CC handle WOC.
Beautiful bag!!! This is the one classic flap that is still on my list, I've wanted it in beige for years. So happy for you in being able to get your hands on it. Actually I also want one in grey too. :-) The increase sux but as it's been pointed out these luxury brands always do an increase. I feel like they are happening more often and the amounts are ridiculous but it's going to happen whether I like it or not. Unfortunately I am not of the elite group who will not be affected by these increases. I will need to save more and longer if I want one.
Just FYI....Samorga has a longggg delay, 🙈🙈I believe due to covid. I ordered an insert as a gift for a friend. I ordered may 6th and still haven’t received it. I can say I reached out to them and they did respond quickly and said they would expedite delivery and send it fedex--I should be getting it this week. 👏👏just fyi! Just plan accordingly!

Congrats! I got this myself last August from Harrods. It's one of my favourites : ) EDIT: Just noticed that my beige and grey are both made in France, Yay! I purchased both from Harrods on different dates). I purchased my black one from Selfridges and that one is made in Italy.
