Hii but jaisa aapne kaha yeh video mein kya aapne actually weight loose Kiya kya after buying this cycle because mein bhi plan kar raha hu buy karne ka cycle
Does any one posting here have any clue what they are talking about. I am laughing at the comments. That 9x2 drive train is more expensive than the regular 3 x8 you get on cheap bikes. It is lighter and has more gear range. The hydraulic brakes allow you to brake better on steep inclines. On your 15k "mtb" you get mechanical brakes that will need you to use more force on the pulls to get good breaking. Hydraulic brakes allow you to do what we call single or two finger braking on steep trails. Get rid of that stand if you are going to ride real mountain trails. That stand add atleast 200 grams and Duaji will feel it on steep climbing trails. That is why they dont add it with the bike. In the MTB world people pay more and more for lighter but stronger components. This bike has decent components for the price he paid i.e 30k. Remeber you can get an MTB for 3 lacs also. Also dont add all that plastic bumpers they give in Bike shop, they will break very easily if you do typical mountain trails. Most people go buy a mountain bike and ride road. This is a terrible model for that. That stand will be the first to get loose and rattle like hell during a real mountain trail ride. Dua ji should have bought a hybrid bike that has got road wheels with less rolling resistance. These mtb wheels will take more friction loss on roads and will ride rougher than a hybrid bike. If you are riding off road country typical mud trails, you need only a hybrid(gravel) bike. Our road gutters are nothing compared what real mtb's are made for. He would have gotten a better deal with bell and stand :-) . The problem is that Dua ji will find it more effort to ride this than the typical hero road bike and soon loose interest. Mountain Riding is a totally different type of riding. If you are buying a car to travel within town, it would be stupid to buy a Jeep wrangler right? Even the seat post is set low for Duaji, It will give him back pain. The sad truth of buying these typoe of cycles in India is that even Decathlon doesnt have staff to give good advice. They dont do a proper bike fit. Looking at Duaji, I think medium size is correct. But the shop people didnt set up the bike correctly for him. I am writing this because people just buy a bike without understanding the whys, almost always stops using the bike in about 4 months. Then it just sit sadly in the home unused. Then they try to sell it and get shocked that they will be lucky if they can sell it for half the price. A hybrid bike has better second hand market. If I was Duaji, I would have bought a cheaper road going bike at around 10k. Then I would make it a point to use the bike for his intented use, that is fitness for 6 months and ensured that you are keep doing it. Then with the knowledge he had gained about his preferences of riding type, would have spent his money much better. He could have bought more comfortable riding clothes, a bike helmet for safety and taken a paid training vacation to learn cycling disciplines better. Just bought the a Rockrider ST 540 for my daughter to come with me on trail rides for 19k , 4 month old bike with warranty still intact. Now you can understand why second hand value is low. Stupid purchases end with stupid results. I can say this because I have ridden real mountain trails and tried some bikes and know the value of what I see on the bike. I built my own bikes from scratch. I also have seen many people getting discouraged very fast.
