Bought the P15,000 VORNADO Electric Fan from SLATER YOUNG'S SKYPOD | VORNADO AIR CIRCULATOR UNBOXING

I've been using this fan for 6 - 7years already. And I must say what I love about this fan is it doesn't suffocates me. The fan will give you a windchill effect and it equalizes the temperature in your room esp if you are using ac it removes the hot spots. What I only dislike is cleaning the grills as it can be really really tough. Also it doesn't work in a humid place esp if it is above 80 % so it doesnt work because the air is too heavy to be circulated. I use regular fan instead if I will turn off my ac.

Durability (I don't like him emphasizing this, fans that are around 1-2k are just as durable) I think di nya na research masyado ang purpose. Anyway this is supposed to be an air circulator. What it does is circulate air sa isang kwarto, unlike normal fans na kung saan nakatutok jan lang din ang hangin. Kaya pagtayo mo ang init pa rin. If na circulate yung air sa room, na e-even yung temperature = mas cooler sa feeling. It also helps pag nag aircon ka, kasi pag ginamit mo to habang naka aircon mas ma circulate nang maayos ang cold air sa isang room and you can even get away with a lower cooling setting. Nag re-research pa din ako, kaya ako napadpad sa video na to. But I think the uploader just wanted to do an unboxing, as stated din sa title. So it's not his fault if di nya na review nang maayos.

Research daw, but u didnt bother try to find out why is it so expensive on the first place. Plus the fact that the one slater featured cost around 6k lng.

Vornado costs higher compared to normal fans because it gives different cooling process. In layman's term, normal fans give us a wind chill once it hits us directly while the vornado helps the air move constantly for the whole area or room until the air cools lower than the normal fan does. Technically it is not used as normal electric fan because this technology needs to be faced on the wall or ceiling as it circulates the air throughout the room. Hope it adds some info.

6yrs na sa akin Vornado yung maliit na version nabili ko Php 2,500.00 nuong 2016. Until now gumagana at okay parin maingay nga lang sa subrang lakas. Definitely expensive.

Hi Jeff, I have the 633DC model and I'm planning to buy another one for our condo. Question for that model is the height adjustable and 3 speed settings lang ?

Vornado user here and I can vouch for its durability and function. What you have is the "DC" series which uses direct current which is thought to be more stable and energy efficient kaya it has the box like thing in the cable similar to laptop chargers. It also has a very low wattage rating. Being an air circulator you will better appreciate the quality of air as you go farther away from the fan. Even if you stand 10meters away from it you will still feel the breeze coming from it which is true to what the ads say: it can circulate the air in the whole room. It's also the reason why vornado doesn't have the oscillate function. Now, regular electric fans can surely blow air but in only one direction and cannot distribute air in the whole room efficiently. Congrats on your purchase, planning also to upgrade mine to the "DC" series 😀

Thanks for the video. LOL, you mentioned 15k and Slater Young for more than 10x. Hahaha. Ako rin parang malapit nang mabudol ni Vernado dahil kay Slater. But our ordinary electric fans that we bought for less than 1k each lasted us more than 15 years, and we had 3 of those: National, 3D ang brands. So durability is not our concern. Ano po kaibahan ng Vornado sa ordinary electric fan, did you notice any quick lowering of room temperature? Gusto ko rin sana ng Vornado, if it has a function other than an ordinary fan.

Misleading content... you could have discussed the features of the product since you kept harping if it’s worth it. Plus you referenced an incorrect item if you’re basing it off of Slater’s video.

Its an air circulator not an ordinary fan. The mechanism for air distribution is different. If di kayo absent sa physics class nio, you'd know why vornado is expensive. Tapos ang unfair naman that you are comparing it to ordinary fan, well in the first place they are totally different. Sana cinompare mo nalang sa ibang brand ng air circulator

Yung kay Slater, walang stand. Also, sana medyo inexplain mo na Air Circulator yan, hindi typical na electric fan.

Vornado are quite expensive, but 15k made it way too overpriced. I guess there's no way around that since it is an imported product from USA. Yes I do have that same model but only 2/3 of the cost vs price in the Philippines. If I have extra 15k, will I buy it? The simple practical answer is no! Pero kung mayaman si daddy, pwede na rin para "in" ako sa mga rich kids friends ko😂

It's wrong information. Slater young's vornado air circulator is around 5k. The price matters kasi the guy was promoting sensible buys, cost savings, etc. In this case, the name was used but model product and pricing was incorrect, giving wrong information to viewers.

mas mahal mas durable... itong standard at kdk brand sa electric fan namen mahigit magdalawang dekada na. araw araw ginagamit mga 10 to 12 hours, hindi pa na repair at buhay pa hanggang ngayon.

Nakakaiyak naman na mas mahal pa yung electric fan kesa sa sahod ko. The F is life.
