Happy easter Rock. I will say Yamaha has quite the following with all there sport quads. Raptor left standing now. Hey could you do a shop video of what fuel lines your using and sizes most to have on hand. Also a shop Renovation. Shelves on that big wall would be nice rather than the floor. Also do you sub 2 VINTAGE? He reminded me of you and all you do but not customer based. Are you going to work on the red Grizzly soon. Good job on the plastics. Agree Milwaukee screw drivers with the 🧲 tips and hex shaft are great. Do also burn your solvent rags in a barrel and not keep them in shop for fear of ignition? Well enough than. Take care. Wait for reply.
I just finished a rebuild on a pretty bad Warrior end of last year, it has 25x13.5 (stealing much power I think) on rear, does it feel like the seating position is really awkward? pegs too high and seat too low? also does the engine feel really utility to you? sort of torquey but not really sporty, and the steering is kind of heavy with a lot of kickback? maybe I need to do valves as well!
Honestly I thought there was something wrong with mine when I first hopped on it. I didn’t remember the seating position so low, and yes it’s a torque engine that not made to rev to the moon..
@@rockspowersports Its setup for Teens I think and shorter people (Japanese?), I find the pegs crazy high and the seat super duper low! Probably seemed like a real ripper when you were younger, I haven't ridden a 450\660 sport ATV, but I imagine the motor are a bit sportier then the old air cooled 350. I did take mine through some pretty gnarly rocky, horrible hill climbs, off cambers, steep descents here in the Rockies (Calgary) and its really capable, you realize how terrifying newer ATV's with big ground clearance are on off-camber, hill climb\descent when you ride a Warrior which has Zero sway and easily does off cambers safely. Really enjoy your videos, spring is the in air!
I remember back in the late 90s dirtwheels did a big bore on the yamaha wolverine 350. It's essentially the same motor found in the warrior. But they took the jug off the Kodak 400 and installed a big bore plus a stroker crankshaft to increase displacement all the way to 500cc. Thought that was a great build. Keep up the videos
If yamaha would have made that a actual light weight sport 4x4, betting it would sell like crazy.. myself today's 4x4 atv like polaris 570 weighing in at 800 plus pounds is just way too heavy
Hey quick question from a neighbor in lunenburg. Have a 02 sportsman 700 with bad regulagor. I have a 03 seems like same wires different #.. should work?
These have 2 replays that go bad and couses hard start that’s if the 2000 an later modles I think it would crank all day till we put new relays in . Also the intake boots crack on these a lot and the carb excell pump on these need a lil work
My first quad blaster 200 I rebuilt the whole quad then I got a a 98 warrior 350 with a stroker kit it needed a rear axle so I fixed that an rode them 2 quads for years . The warrior was a tank
My first wheeler when I was 18 1994 Warrior, got it so new it was not even put together when I bought it lol! Still remember just pulling it out of the back of my truck and the front suspension came down so dang smooth.....
My first one was an 87 was built up bought it for 100 dollars guy put way to short of a plug in it changed it ran great built motor works suspension. Loved that bike
