Boulia 2 Darjarra 

Still trying to leave the Big Red Bash crowd behind, we by pass Bedourie and stop at Boulia for the night. An enormous free camp just outside town behind the racecourse. The adjacent creek bed is home to some interesting birdlife, namely Brolgas - such an amazing bird to watch.
On the road to Mt Isa, we spend the night at Dajarra Dam. It's a little tricky to find the dam but we manage and are so glad we confirm we are on the right dirt track.
