Have you guys tried Bounce Curl products? How do you like them? ONE MORE THING! I can't believe I forgot to mention the Hair & Body Perfume! They sent it to me as well, but I actually keep it in my purse at all times and totally forgot to take it out for the video. I LOVE the perfume for my skin and hair! It smells like piña colada! :)

Try the gel in combination with cantu curl activator cream! Bouncecurl recommends this combination :)

This gel dries my hair out so badly. Day one results look great, but my hair feels like sandpaper by day 2 and I get 2 - 3 days max out of it (I usually go 4-5 days between washes, sometimes a week depending on how much I've gone to gym/how humid it is). I've tried all sorts of combinations with leave-ins and creams, and have yet to get a good match. The owner even openly admits her gel doesn't get along with creams, so hopefully she's manufacturing a product that will pair well with it.

Great review! I just recently started using the shampoo/conditioner and I am a fan of both. I love how moisturizing they leave my hair. I have used the gel for a while and have found that regardless of how much product I use it leaves residue/white cast. I love the natural hold it provides so to combat the residue I mix in my cream leave in or my coconut cream styler from Diva Curl. Since doing this method I haven't seen any residue.

I had the same experience with BC. Drying with no hold. Frizzy. They sent me a conditioner and clarifying shampoo. I’m Hoping I can make it work with a moisturizing cream.

The high aloe vera content can cause this slightly astringent, dry feeling for some people. For others the aloe is a great film forming humectant and they don't experience this. It made my hair very dry, and it frizzed too. In it's most extreme form, aloe can cause Flash Drying. Otherwise it will feel like your hair is a bit parched like you skipped leave in conditioner and applied a regular gel to bare hair.

I had dryness with he gel too but had good luck with putting the Garnier avocado hair treat conditioner under it. I've also found it works better for me if my hair is damp and not soaking wet. I saw on IG that she's working on formulating a curl cream so I'm interested to try that with the gel when it comes out.

I love your look! I could never fluff my hair it becomes frizzy. 😔 I also tried Bounce Curl. It smells amazing & feels moisturizing but their was no hold from the gel for me. It also did nothing for my frizz, thanks to this South Texas humidity. I tried pairing with a frizz oil but still nothing. I wish I could have soft curls like you.

i recently bought the light moisture package, i loved it as well, the only thing was i wasn’t a huge fan of the smell of the conditioner, but it works amazing so i give it a 10/10. and everything else smelled good to me!

Love Bounce Curl.... you have to play with the other creams... I use it with Devacurl coconut cream with the bounce curl... it works well... looks good

It does the same thing to my hair even though its the second chance I give it. Their first formula was bad for my hair and this new formula is actually the same. Ur hair is beatiful but I have seen your curls look even prettier with other products. :)

Loved your review. I used this when it first came out and I fell in love. I know what you mean abt the dry feeling so when ever I use the gel I have to use a light cream and then scrunch the gel in. We have similar hair so I'm sure that would work well on your hair. Love the vid tho ❤

Hi! First things first... girl I looove your curls! and your videos, love love love! I have a question and i hope you can help... BTW, I have very similar curls like yours, thin hair, etc... the thing is that I workout everyday and after my 2 hour intense workout I end up dripping wet, literal my hair drips in sweat, almost "out of the shower" wet. I shampoo/condition/prep it everyday. What shampoo, no poo or what kind of cleaning schedule do you suggest for me and my curls? HELP!

Hi Kelly Thanks you for the review & your honest opinion. Like you I've never try it & I wanted to wait so perhaps I 'll check them out now. My hair texture is very much ike yours. I add another gel if need be. I also like to ask you if you if had a choice what products you like the most to use on your hair and what perfer steps to would it be to achieve your bouncy full volume beautiful curls.🙂 Your most favorites you will always go to since you tried so many. So funny! I actually just starting using BC two weeks ago and I ordered the same combo. I wish the conditioner had a little more slip. I feel like I have to use a lot to get the slip I want. I agree with the frizz halo tooo. However, I notice I get more than 3 day hair with it so that's a plus. I haven't paired any leave ins with it though so maybe that will help? I tried arc angel with it on like 4th day hair and it was ok... Let me know what other combos you try with it that give you less frizz because I'd be willing to try it. Overall I'm happy with the results because it isn't weighing my hair down as much as my regular SM routine.

Your hair is beautiful, but it’s looked shinier than with this product. I’d recommend Curlsmith Oil in Cream and the Soufflé. Have you tried Curlsmith?

I saw that you used the love ur curls leave in, did you ever use that product line by itself? I've tried it and love the shampoo, conditioner and leave in but it just doesn't have enough hold for me. Any suggestions on what to pair it with?

Thanks God, I’m quite glad to read that I’m not the only one having problems with this product. It dried my hair so badly causing huge buildup and instead of keeping and popping my curls far far away from it, things I never had before. And it is so expensive! I hope I’m going to get my curls back! Hands of this product! At least for me. I’m so disappointed!
