We have had 38 goat babies born this spring with three mamas left to kid between now and the 4th of July! The little kids are now good at finding their mom’s in the barn, and sure footed so we set them out to pasture with the rest of the herd for the day! They now have a whole new world to explore. At 2-3 weeks they will start sleeping with the other kids in a separate stall. Then spending the day outside with their moms. Today’s freedom is a step towards that in their development! Baxter, Bunker and Eustis go to their new pet home together on the 27th. We love those guys and will be sad to see them go but are so happy we have such loving homes set up for all the kids so far! (We’re keeping Dilly Bean’s spotty mini nubian baby Sassafras and Honeysuckle’s sweet doe Bean!)
