Bounty Yum Yum & Prawns Jhatpat | Chef Shireen Anwar | Masala Mornings | 29 April 24 | MasalaTV
PRAWNS JHATPAT RECIPE INGREDIENTS :
Prawns cleaned ½ kg
Oil ½ cup
Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
Chili powder 2 tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Onion finely chopped ½ cup
Salt 1 tsp
Curry leaves 10
Dried red chilies 4
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves and green chilies chopped as required
METHOD :
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, whole red chilies, and curry leaves, and fry till light brown, add all the spices and prawns, and fry well, then add 1 cup hot water, cook till prawns are tender and gravy thick, add chopped green chilies, allspice, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
BOUNTY YUM YUM RECIPE INGREDIENTS :
Biscuits crushed 2 cups
Milk ¼ cup for soaking
Ingredients for Chocolate Custard :
Milk 1 liter
Sugar 5 tbsp
Vanilla custard powder 3 tbsp
Chocolate sauce 4 tbsp
Whipped cream 2 cups
Bounty bars 6
Chocolate chips ½ cup
METHOD :
Make the chocolate custard by cooking milk, sugar, and custard, dissolve in ¼ cup cold milk, and cook stirring till custard is thick and cool, put it in a blender with 4 bounty bars and cream, blend, and keep aside. In a serving dish spread a layer of crushed biscuits, soak them with milk, pour bounty mixture over the biscuit, level properly, decorate with cream, chocolate chips, crushed bounty, and serve chilled.
