It’s not just about him buying. A lot of us are looking for bottles that we may never see in our small town. When major posts them if a person chooses they can make that drive. I’m not just talking about allocations either. Some people may not see a new release for a year if ever.
It's not always about buying but having a good time and buying things you actually like or something you find interesting. Better save the money for that than something you're not interested in.
Hey, not sure what kind of camera you are using but these settings need some work. When the camera pans it's a terrible motion blur effect, even at 2k resolution.
It broke my heart when your buddy had copper and cask in his hand for half off, which would have been 47$, and you didn't grab one. Also, one of the last stores had shelves of copper and cask, and you didn't acknowledge it. What a missed opportunity for great whiskey at a great value
I really wanted to do the distillery tour with y’all. But my daughter scheduled a tasting date with her boss. I was subjected to tasting Elmer T, Weller Single Barrel, Pappy Lot B, Stagg Jr (the bottle had JR on it), Thomas Handy, Weller Full Proof. I’ve got a really good daughter.
Ignore the downer comments, you’re my favourite bourbon education channel. We get f***** in the UK, literally just bought an Elijah Craig C921 online for £116= $150 😢 The only ‘range’ available for almost-cheap is Amazon & it butt hurts me to pay Billionaire Bezos tax for drinks 😂
Lots of great people, nice hangout! I don't think there are any stores in GA that are as nice as some of these you highlighted. Also, the bar at the end looked really nice too. The real question is did your neck hurt from having to film up at all the taller people? 😉 Looking forward to seeing everyone else's footage trickle out over the next couple of weeks! Cheers Adam
Shuttering camera focus needs a fix, it's been long time now. Side note. Around 38min mark there was wild turkey masters keep on the shelf with the boxes stripped from them. What a shame. Eagle rare behind the counter but masters keep on the shelf is insane
Thank you very much for the video! I love watching people hunt! On the next videos can you move slower for the camera! I would like to get a full glance of locations! I would also love getting a close up of what your friends are buying!
Pros to hunting in Idaho where I’m at is most stuff is close to msrp, con is you never find it on the shelf. I’d pay these crazy prices all day long for a few select bottles.
1:03 - Looks like a midwinter in his hand and on shelf. If those act 11's are still around I have to assume its priced at $200. They sell quick enough unless they are marked up... but I think they are worse than a $50 rye blended with a $10 bottle of port.
Love the hunt videos. There must have been a lot of CYPB in the last release. All the stores around me had it for $300 but one had it on the shelf for $200 and it sat there for a week. Plenty of Barton too, picked up the Sweet Wheat and 12 year for $50 each.
I went to the same exact busters a couple weeks ago and they told me they had a CYPB and they wanted 300 for it. Interesting if they bought them for MSRP 🧐
Sorry, this video was not my normal hunt video. it's just a fun multi store. Was supposed to be more of a fun day of guys hunting. That is a single barrel store pick, which is rare for our area. I have high lighted it before
Which bottles did I pass over? I can't buy or talk about every bottle out there, plus this was a meet up super hunt, not my normal video. Hate to see you go and thanks for the feedback
@MajorXero I just scored my first bottle of W a107 , in the 2 years I've been into bourbon, I've thr only other Weller I've ever seen is the base green....
Yo man how's Rusty doing? Haven't seen him in a while since he broke away from doing things. Tell him I said what's up and hope he's feeling better !!!!!! If Rusty says rich and rare reserve is what you get. Then you listen to Rusty and get it !!!!!!
