I want to apologize to all of my viewers. It has been brought to my attention that the old forester that I held up at the beginning of the video was not the exact bottle that I had purchased. However, an old forester single barrel 100 proof was purchased. It just wasn't that exact bottle. It was not my intention to mislead anyone in this video, and for that, I sincerely apologize.

Nice hunt! Last bottle of michters 10yr was at the distillery. I always hope if I find a selection like that, I have the money to buy them!

I've been into bourbon since 2004, and this was my 1st time ever running into a selection like this at those prices.... I truly believe it might be a once in a lifetime thing

Love it! I would probably poop myself if I walked in a store and they had all of those, lol. Can’t believe you found the EH Taylor Barrell Proof. I was lucky enough to get a great bundle at Michter’s on July 3rd. 10 yr bourbon, Bombergers, and Shenks bundle. I was happy! Congrats man!

Nice haul. I’ve been there too and honestly, $1000 for a bundle like that isn’t too bad or shameful. A lot of people spend $200-$300 for the stagg and Eh Taylor individually.

Not that much but a pretty good chunk. I’m trying to be a bit more selective. I really don’t chase allocation bottles but if I see something that I have heard good things about and it’s not crazy expensive I’ll pick it up. I would like to try some store picks like the OF 100 single barrel. State just had a drop of it and unfortunately I was working and no stores around me had any anyway. I would have had to drive over an hour away so missed them. Maybe next time. Seriously impressive. I probably would have only gotten the two JD the Two Michters the Stagg and the OF 100. So again not as big a bill but enough that I’d have to sneak it in the house. Enjoy!!

This is the first time I've had the opportunity to buy this much at one time. Most of these stores have a limit of one bottle per person. This store told me that hardly any of the allocated bottles they get ever sell. The Mitchers have been on the countertop since December, and no one wanted them.

"When you've got the opportunity it's hard to pass up." Ain't that the truth! 😆 This is an expensive haul! Even at retail pricing, that pile of bottles on the table there is a pretty penny! Probably hovering right around $1,200? I'm really digging Old Forester since I started delving into their products recently. So the 1924 and the barrel pick got my attention. I know reviews have been lukewarm on the 1924. Mainly people feel the juice doesn't line up with a $115 price tag. $115 can buy you a lot of quality bourbon. Many people mention they could buy a 1910 and a 1920 and have change leftover and they'd be better off. I'm not really sure what Old Forester was going for with that one.
