At the end of last season, we knew EXACTLY what we needed: CAM, Striker, Winger (not a panic buy). We didn't get a single one and we've been left short yet again. Merino, Calafiori, Sterling are not good enough for a title and CL charge. Now, we're shoe horning Trossard into a position he doesn't play, but when he starts playing well in that position, Arteta rips him out of it?? . Merino isn't fast enough for this league, Sterling looks lost, and Calafiori is an adrenaline junky. It's a shambles.
Shocking decision from Saliba. Still a long way to goal. And even if you can't catch up, Raya is still there. If Raya can't stop the player, fck it. I blame Trossard over Saliba. Yes, Saliba didn't need to grab him but it was an instinctive thing. If Trossard doesn't smash the ball into such a random area, Saliba isn't even put into that situation

Why defenders did this so often? you know you are the last man, you know you will get a red card and potentially make your team lose. When is it going to become clear that teams have to follow the PL agenda, that is "scripted" games. This agenda fosters the premise that the PL is the greatest league in the world, "any team can beat any team" fallacy. Arsenal have not followed the "rules" a few times over the past seasons and went on to win where they should have drawn, or lost according to script. This is why they have been unduly penalised over the last few years. I remember the game when they were meant to lose, but Auba said in his head, fxxx that and scored so we won. After that Arsenal got penalised, Auba was media assasinated and things got worse. // This is big business, and in big business NOTHING is ever left to chance. Arsenal have to face this obstacle of finding a way to win without Saka in competitive matches. They overcome the odegaard absent this Saka one is much more difficult. If we don’t address this in the next 6-7 games, we could end up having a underwhelming season.
