As an Asian person, as much as I adore watching the BOUview every week, I have to point out something that people have been missing a lot: Niohuru's dress isn't just a kimono. The style at the shoulders is 100% kimono, but as it travels down her body it deviates into a hanfu style, as Nio stated on her insta post.
On the “ Dragula is who I am” people need to remember Kendra comes from a military background, did the show, represented black alternative drag that rarely got a platform, she had her traumatic performance accident and recovered, LOOKS absolutely incredible and beautiful today and is STILL HERE reminding us who she is, why she is and she can do the damn thing. She did the most iconic season of Dragula that any performer would have struggled not to go home first in… She dedicated her time during covid to participate in Ressurection, debatably the best piece of media the boulets have produced, And then gave us even more iconic tv on Titans. 👏 if that’s not Dragula in your blood I don’t know what is!
I don't understand the hate on Ana for being quiet. Throb has been way more quiet and barely says anything. There's nothing wrong with that, I just don't understand that critique.

I dont think the hate jay kay is getting is racially motivated, and orkgotic is not white passing at all, he is brown brown. I think whats happening is that the other contestants are on better terms with eachother so theyre willing to let comments slide more. Plus jay kay is having issues with ork and fantasia, neither of them are white
Well some things have been very micro-aggressive towards the contestants of color this season, which isn’t always direct or intentional but it should be called out. I feel for jay kay though because wow they are NOT letting up😭

I can agree with Kendra on the situation with JK. It isnt just this season its almost every season and damn near every franchise that its Queens/Preformer of Color and its mad annoying. I hope they dont do Fantasia or Black Berry like that but they probably wont because they seem "Approchable".
