I was introduced/immersed into Greek music while engaged to a wonderful man from Greece who was living in the U.S.A. We owned a cafe (where I loved all the Greek dishes!). We never married but my love of the music has only grown over the last forty years. Now three husbands and six children later guess who is moving to Greece?! Opa!
Just love Greece and the sound of bouzouki! Several years ago, my son, daughter and myself took a cruise through Greece and the Greek Islands (not my first or last time). Well, there was the Greek night, we took sirtaki lessons and dressed in white and blue. When the dance began, my children were too shy to participate. I was so enthusiastic that I fainted while dancing and was attended by the ship's doctor. He was soooo handsome!
Greek music the best in the world ...can't get enough of it, it's so pure like the real soul talks to you and add the powerful lyrics when the pain is talking to music, and the beautiful landscape and of course the delicious food ..and I wonder why Greece is called paradise on earth.
After 30 years we will be going back to the Greek Islands. Many years ago we visited many islands and mixed with the locals. Many memories. Now returning to Europe from Guatemala and so will be able to get to my favourite people again.
@@michaellysandrou5569 it's not only erdogan. It's the whole system in turkey based on nationalism and imperealism against all of their neighbours. But despite this, it's good to see nice people from turkey express their real feelings
@@aspalathossplit3001not all their neighbours, Turkiye has never had problems with the Georgians.. we like them as a people, we would also never harm them, and then we have the Greek (not the government, but the)people, they are mostly also very kind against the Turkish people(not the governemnt🤪) and we like them too very very much, yassou bre filou yamass 🍻🚬
I have loved Greek music since my high school days and wanted to see Greece. The opportunity came when I was stationed there in the 1970s as an airman at a base just outside of Athens.

Hello, We, at Saltire Software, are interested in using this audio as part of our adaptation of the book, On the Sensations of Tone by Hermann Helmholtz. The product will be online, and will give users the ability to hear the chords, notes, scales, etc. which are discussed in the book, as well as include other features. We would like to use a clip of your playing in a section of the appendix which focuses on non-harmonic scales traditional to various parts of the world. If we have your permission to use the audio in your video, please let us know. Regards, Saltire Software
