Love that this has a handle on the end. I've a ton of rough knotty pine stair balusters in this log cabin of mine, and am wanting to get them cleaned up and more refined - don't need the grandkids getting splinters or scrapes from what the builder/previous owner left behind. With your design and some thought to making one, I'll be much better able to work between the balusters! Now to rig up some dust collection for this endeavor..... :-/

I'm still new here but, why do you have a spatula for spreading frosting on a cake hanging at the upper left on the wall behind your bench?

Thanks for the tutorial video Steve. I have been wondering how to make one of these bow sanders to use in my woodworking. This will do great on the projects I am doing. I am also taking up Wood Carving and I can make a smaller one of these to round the backs of some of my animals that I do. Thanks again Steve and God Bless you and your family. Mike Brady

Denis Minuz OK, how foar back do you go? What about Perkins paste, that was my favorite for glue at school. You could (and did) eat it, it smelt like almonds. Cheers Steve
@yngwie66

Primary school early 1970's. Perkins doesn't ring a bell but I'm from Victoria so that may be a state based thing. As for eating the glue, it was a special breed that did that! ;-)

Denis Minuz Pinkish plastic container with a spatula attached to the lid. Mid 60's for me in Sydney. Might be something in that I still have the odd lick of the hide glue brush. Not keen on PVA's though lol. Cheers Steve
