Bow ties are cool! Thanks for this cute idea! Just tried it with 3mm bicones instead of the rounds for the band (was completely out of rounds! oh no!). It's a bit... itchy? maybe pokey, but it worked out fine. All I had to do was make the band a little bigger than I'd normally make a stretch ring and it is perfectly comfortable.

Hi Kelly. I have the top of the ring done. I'm going to need to use a needle for the elastic. I just can't get through twice no matter how much I pull the elastic. My size 10 needle opening is too small. Can you please tell me what size needle will fit the elastic. Thanks Kelly.
