I watched this 13-year-old kid completely dominate the hip-hop music scene with his sudden and unexpected arrival. He was mentored and molded by some of the most legendary figures in hip-hop. The world watched as he went from a youthful achiever to one of the music industry's all-time greats. Whether you like him or not, you can't deny his legendary significance in the world of hip-hop. He definitely deserves his flowers now..no doubt.
Although he may be corny at times, but you have to give this man his flowers! He's apart of majority of our nostalgic moments if you grew up in that era.
He's never been corner is you & certain people thinks he's corny the average kid celebrity that was popping back then when he was at his Peak or on drugs or dead at this moment
To me, he was never corny like we always like to use that word as a weapon to try to downgrade someone’s character we all ain’t perfect at all regardless his mistakes that he made least he’s man enough to own up to those mistakes 🤷🏾♂️💯
Yeah, I agree. Because most of his roles were when he was a teenager, I'd like to how he's grown in the acting department in some bigger drama roles now that he's in his mid 30s. I always felt he was a pretty solid actor though. But I feel once his music career slowed down, the movie roles slowed down for him as well. It was a good look for him to make an appearance in F9 but still, he was longer getting the roles like he was when he was still peaking in his career.
Yeah, I just feel he still has more work to put in before he can get that type of recognition. Bow had his biggest run during his teen years, probably from 13-19/20yrs. Yeah, he did the Scream tours. But those years, that's when he peaked in his music and movie career. But I also feel that he threw in the towel too early with his music career because we didn't get enough "grown" Bow Wow music, I'm talking late 20s to early 30s. We got mixtapes but no more studio albums. Once his music career started to slow down and come to a stop, so did the big movie roles. He did do Entourage and CSI Cyber but he took on more of the hosting gigs as well as reality shows.
My dad took me to see bow wow in houston as a kid, I was so excited and he didn't disappoint. It's cool to see him still doing his thing so many years later
Bow did try to make an entrance back into the game, it just wasn't well received like that meaning that nobody really cared like they use to. He dropped quite a few tracks in between (Yeah, Drunk Off Ciroc, Raris and Porches, My Pain, Never Met Het on Collins which I liked, etc). But he really couldn't get his footing back into the current industry and sometimes that happens when you came out as a kid star. I think Bow realized this and felt he could make a better impact off of touring his old catalog and it works for him. The rap/hip-hop game isn't what it use to be back in the 2000s. But he also threw in his rap towel too early. He could have released more studio albums in his late 20s/early 30s because we only know Bow for his teen bop catelog. But his Greenlight tapes was 🔥🔥🔥
Ppl only say he not a legend because his run stopped before his life could .. he a legend fuck what mfs talkin bout . He was a kid in a grown mans game and paved the way for young artists to be taken seriously
@@benny7882 or the "underrated" album that he was supposed to drop back in 2011/2012 back when he was signed to young money, but never came. Bow stay teasing with the music but never release them. And I know he got some heat. Even the songs he was playing during his underrated webisodes to build anticipation for the album he never dropped. The ones I was anticipating the most was his song with Talib Kweli, the song he made with Wiz and the one with Busta Rhymes. Till this day I still go back and listen to the snippet w/ him and Busta. I don't see what's the hold up. He can still be relevant in the music world right now if he just dropped some new shit consistently, he's still young. Lately he's been touring and performing but mainly performing songs he made as Lil Bow Wow, he need to drop an album full of bangers as an adult to show the fans that he's grown and that he's no longer "Lil' Bow Wow" because that's all people see him as. Sad, but true😔💁🏿♂️💯

Omg I didn’t realize he was a Pisces but it totally makes sense now. Also we definitely connect with Scorpios. My husband and I have been together for 21 years .
Clowning Bow Wow making y’all look like clowns. I can’t defend a man or his money but to be someone myself whose been to Dubai more times than I can count, Rome, Italy. Portugal, France, Abu Dabi and so forth. I know that for someone who’s had access almost his whole life, he’s lived 3 lifetimes and has probably done 10x more than what y’all bucket list can hold. I’m just saying 🤷🏾♂️ even if he’s broke and in debt his accomplishments will be worth more than a lot of y’all existences.
Well said 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 most people don’t give credit for, the pressure to perform at such a difficult time… teen years insecurity is a real thing… I’m greatful that he even doing this interview, how he doing it, openly sharing, when he could choose to be less explicit, he genuinely compassionate, that what I’m Getting🥰 🕊❤️💪🏽🙏🏽
Bow Wow got plaques and accolades. Nigga,I wanted to be Bow Wow at 1 point.😅 I also thought that I was Lil Wayne when that Baller Blocking video came on. If you weren't inspired. You probably just aren't old enough.
Nigga haircuts were $8 my whole life until after my high school years in the early 2000s. Then it went up to $10.... by my late 20s it was $20......that's the highest I ever paid. Now Im bald sadly lol but I save money on haircut 😅😅😅
39:42 Yeah it was luck, strategy + major budgets, super producers & ghostwriters as well. Many 13yr olds don’t have that. They’re just writing their little hearts out tryna “make it”
Yo Bow..just to let you know, where you sittin..?? There was a girl named lagumba sittin in that same spot like a month ago..said she was R Kelly and Aliyah’s love child..just lacing you on where you at bro..😂
41:10 I had the best verse on the whole soundtrack... “Who Ya Luv” I talk about it on my page Drawn Apart tap- in .. real Hip-Hop stories & hand drawn portraits
@Drawn Apart.. that was his down fall... no lie... he dosent own none of his hit songs... he dont get paid from any of his old songs.. just for that one reason... smh he only can get payed from concerts
17:53 .. right here is exactly what I’m talking about. If this guy was placed in a studio with just a beat & a booth... he folding... coming out with nothing.
@@MissRory662 That wasn’t predominantly his material… Also I didn’t say he was wack. Just that he doesn’t write. Lastly we’re talking Hip-Hop not R&B to diff genres.
They had to put “legendary” in caps or else bow wouldn’t do the interview. Who says “Bow wows legendary career?” Man was holding back tears in the intro. Damn he looks like he is just a normal ass person. Did faking A jet ride or faking ownership of it do this to him? You know his career been done if it can’t take A fake stunt. The fuck is wrong with his head? Looks like someone’s been gassing him maybe hinting this interview would do something to revive his career as being a person who is famous for being a person who used to be more famous.
