I’ve put my PX5 headphones in the bin Wayway guys they have a common fault one side will stop working you will see lots of them for sale as spares or repairs because of this fault, Bowers and Wilkins I’m afraid we’re not very helpful messed me around asking the same old thing on emails and then offering me an upgrade with a bit of discount so I put them in the bin by the way they are not repairable
To assess the sound quality, what did you use? A DAC? What was the quality of the file you used? And did you run the unit in for at least 20 hours before your assessment?
I did not run the unit for 20 hours because it's not a new one. It's a review unit. I spent most of my time with the PX5 using it as how it's intended to be used and that's with wireless mode and mostly Spotify from my mobile phone or laptop. However I did try it with Schiit Magni 3+ and Dragonfly Cobalt and did not really find that much difference in sound quality.
