Bow hunting muleys in this terrain has to be one of the hardest hunts there is. Soooo tough!!! Patience is everything id say. And great accuracy. Whew this looks tough
The hauntings of missed bucks is a real thing. I missed one when I was 17, I'm 58 now and I still have a reoccuring dream about it. Does anyone else ever get this or am I crazy? Thanks for the vid.

Pedro, I live here in southern Alberta and do a lot of bow hunting for mule deer.. many misses for me but it keeps calling me back and with great company its hard to beat! come again soon.. love your work, attitude and videos👏

Thats where I live, one of the best hunting places on earth!! We got wide open range, rolling foothills, mountains, boreal forest and one of the biggest selection of animals to hunt and fish anywhere. Its amazing country, love seeing where I live on film hope you come back for more Pedro!!

Great film, Pedro. Hunting mule deer in open country like that with a bow has to be one of the hardest hunts. There is absolutely nothing to hide behind other than the terrain of the ground to get with in bow range.

Increíble Escena. El animal estaba tan cerca que pudo escuchar el ruido del arco. El Ángulo del tiro era una verdadera locura el rango de entrada para la flecha era muy pequeño. I remember seeing giant mule deer bucks in Montana. They always outsmarted me now they’re all gone. Let’s keep on protecting predators better they get them than the bullshit hunters we have today.

Hey Bruce not sure I understand. The buck had an old scar from earlier on the season according to our guide in the high shoulder, that’s the mark the buck has on both sides on the shoulder area.
Hi Pedro, thanks for your reply - maybe I’m imagining it but after the first shot slides to the right and shaves off the hair, the deer turns and on the second jump, it seems another arrow goes under the back legs? It’s 17:57 on the video. I wondered if you got a second arrow away so quickly or am I missing something? Either way, it’s amazing footage 🤩
