Bowie State University College of Education Evening with John W Franklin 2022 

This event (rebroadcast) will feature John Whittington Franklin, recently retired from the Smithsonian Institution where he assisted with the development of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Mr. Franklin was featured, this summer, on “60 Minutes”, discussing the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, which his grandfather survived. He is the son of the late Dr. John Hope Franklin, also known as the “Dean of American Historians.”
