@@NateandElise i generally have a really good release timing. i land my ball pretty much right after the foul line everytime. but i get into trouble if the fronts get dry and i get a double hook. so i wish i could release like nate and with that speed
When you were explaining your last game of qualifying....you said you went through the face, so your next shot you moved left and slowed it down. My question is Why wouldn't you just stay where you were and speed it up to hit the pocket? I'm still new to bowling so don't attack me for the question people
Great question. That’s what I did first and my hall didn’t slow down the right was and I 2-8-10 before the shot I went through the face. So the ball was burning up too much. So that’s why I went left and softer. Live and learn. I’ll do something different next time.
Now I don’t know exactly the rules of tournaments like this. But I feel if you make it to the finals you shouldn’t still have handicap. Handicap ends once step ladder begins.
I don't get handicap but I'm on the handicap bowlers side on this one. Just because they made the step ladder don't mean they should loose there handicap. They wouldn't be there without it.
@@711slimshawny I agree with this. If you are a scratch bowler, you made the choice to bowl a hdcp tournament. I didn't bowl for 20 years and just started back some last year and don't bowl any leagues. I don't have a league average so I will be bowling every tournament scratch. Because of that, I will more likely enter mostly scratch tournaments.
I was good until the excuse for losing to handicap. Lol. I'm a scratch bowler also, but you know what you're getting into when you bowl handicap events. It gets old hearing people say that when they knew before they started.
Neither of us were mad that we lost to handicap. It was a close game coming down to the 10th and the other team stepped up when they needed to. We were explaining to the audience that may not have understood since we clearly have a higher score in the video. It was a great tournament with great competition. 😄
